__________________________________________________________________When it’s Stiles who gets bitten instead of Scott in the woods, he doesn’t expect to be transported to an alternate world, stripped naked, and asked to verify everything he’s ever said in life—he’s said some pretty stupid things.
The Time Variance Authority, the keepers of the Sacred Timeline, rip him out of his reality in Beacon Hills and give him an ultimatum: He helps them find a dangerous variant—an individual who’s escaped their correct time, just like him—or he gets “reset” on the spot.
Stiles does the only sensible thing he can think of in this situation—he questions what credentials he even has for this kind of job.
It turns out the Variant is him.
