Chapter Text
The monsters are at the zoo. Watching other creatures trapped in cages.
Sans sees Frisk staring at him.
"*what's wrong bratling?" Sans questions with a raised brow.
Frisk asks if they are sad that the animals are encaged.
Sans glances behind Frisk where Undyne, Alphys and Mettaton stood. Then turns to look over to Papyrus and Toriel. They all seemed to be saddened by the animals confined.
Sans focuses back on the creature they were studying. An elephant.
"*so. what do ya call an elephant that doesn't matter?" Sans questions with a grin, they already had a deadpan expression before he could finish, "irrelephant."
Frisk's lips twitched.
"*listen bratling." Sans said with a sigh, "humans are strange animals. they feel the need to study. and even protect animals." he points to the sign, "look here. it says that this elephant was saved... don't worry about it too much. ok."
Frisk pouts and then wanders off.
Sans looks back at the creature, it almost had pleading eyes to free it from this place.
Monsters were now in the human world, where humans rules and few in number. Even if they wanted to, they could not go against that, in fear that they were the ones to end up in those cages.
