Seeley Booth
What I think about Seeley Booth
I mean, who wants to hear that?
never mind don’t leave.
Fine I’ll get to it.
Sometimes, I’d like to think, that Booth sits in a corner of a dark room, late into the night, just taking deep breaths. Trying to control the sobs that wreck his whole body.
Sometimes, I’d like to think, that Booth drinks multiple cups of coffee, staying up for days at a time. Trying to outrun the nightmares that control his nights.
Sometimes, I’d like to think, that the team pretends to not notice the bags under his eyes. Trying not to point out the shaking of his hands or how many coffee cups he had.
Sometimes, I’d like to think, that Booth zones out during the bad days, reliving the horrible times. Trying to get out of these ‘daydreams’ would be difficult, but no one would ask.
But most of all, I really like to think, that Booth didn’t have those terrible nights or days.
I’d like to counter those terrible thoughts with good ones.
In contrast, I’d like to think, that Booth didn’t have any Post Traumatic Stress.
To think that Booth would have a good coping mechanism and not have terrible thoughts.
Maybe, just maybe, I don’t know him at all. And none of these are correct.
But I just like to think.
