"You died up there, didn't you?"
The enchantment she had placed on him so he would revert back to his human form if anything was to happen to her had been triggered. He had felt the agonising pain of losing her.
"I did. I took the arrow for her
The next thing he knew, he was enfolding her in his arms, too relieved she was alive to think twice about it. He felt her freeze in surprise.
The raven turned man exhaled shakily. "Forgive me. I thought I'd lost you."
Maleficent soon relaxed and returned the embrace with a smile.
