Remus grins as he sees his boyfriend eating a strawberry pencil sweet. He walks up and sits down on the couch beside him, he pulls Sirius's legs up onto his lap.
"hey babe." Remus trails his fingers up and down the calf of Sirius's leg.
"Bonjour Mon armour." Sirius says around his sweet.
Remus can't help but smile softly. Wow. This man is fucking adorable. He feels the box in his pocket and he feels excited yet nervous.
"Your fucking adorable." Remus sighs lifting Sirius's hand to his lips and kissing his knuckles.
Sirius raises an eyebrow and pulls the sweet out of his mouth. He moves his hand away from Remus's lips and puts it behind his neck pulling him forward for a kiss.
The kiss deepens and Remus pushes forward,putting a hand on Sirius's lower back shuffling him down into a laying position.
Remus knows there's nothing to worry about. He over heard Sirius talking about getting married ages ago. He knows what Sirius is going to say. But he's still nervous.
Sirius moans into the kiss.
"Honey we're home!" Someone yells through the house.
Remus sits up and laughs at Sirius's whines.He opens the living room door to a very excited James Potter and a excited Regulus Black.
" Hey prongs hey Reg." Remus grins opening the door wider and stepping to the side to let them in.
It wasn't unusual for them to just let themselves in they done it practically everyday.He just begs them not to make things suspicious.Regulus jumps onto the couch on top of Sirius. The two start wrestling and grinning like idiots.
Remus shakes his head with a much softer grin and James puts an arm around his shoulders. The two sit down on the opposite couch breaking into a conversation about thinking of moving or re decorating.
Eventually Sirius and Regulus are just tangled limbs on the couch speaking in french.
Remus and James both share a look. They think it's extremely hot when their partners start speaking french.
A couple minutes later the doorbell goes and Sirius and James both go racing to grab it.
Sirius wins and swings open the front door.
Dorcas and Marlene look shocked.
"Hey my sexy ladies." Sirius jokes and let's them in closing the door behind them. Dorcas shakes her head with a fond smile whilst Marlene winks jokingly back.
James snorts from behind them and wanders back into the living room.
They all follow him and the two ladies give Remus a knowing look.
Sirius plops down onto the seat James was originally on and swings his legs over into Remus's lap.
"Hey Rems." Dorcas smiles and sits down on an armchair by Remus. Marlene walks into the kitchen like it's her own home.
"Hey love. Pads can you go get me a drink please?" Remus smiles turning to Sirius.
Sirius nods and pecks his lips before hoping up and walking through to the kitchen.
"So...Durning dinner or after dinner?" Dorcas asks.
Everyone looks at Remus expectantly.
"After dinner." Remus answers patting the small box in his trousers.
James drops down beside Regulus.
-time skip after dinner-
"Uhm guys i have something i need to say." Remus says loudly catching everyone's attention. He stands up and pulls Sirius with him.
Sirius raises an eyebrow confusedly.
" Sirius you...you mean the world to me. Your the love of my life. You're my best friend and always will be. And i want to spend the rest of my life with you. Sirius Black..." Remus pulls the box out from his pocket and kneels down on one knee. Sirius gasps and tears spring into his eyes. "will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Remus asks.
Sirius nods straight away.
"Yes yes of course. Merde yes yes."
Claps fill the room and James woops. Regulus and Dorcas wipe the tears from their eyes.
Remus slides the engagement ring onto Sirius's finger and stands up lifting him up happily. When he lets him back down they kiss long and hard.
Marlene and James pull out some part poppers and pop them making confetti go all over the two.
Everyone laughs and smiles brightly.
"I love you so much."
"I love you too."
