The issue with the hit was that it had been clean. There was nothing vicious about it, the angle was just wrong. An angle that had Ilya Rozanov knocked into the edge of the boards face first. Shane was only grateful that they were out and married, so that he could accompany his husband to the hospital without raising any suspicions.
