Nightmare
“You’re a pretty thing. Your uncle did right by me” a man looking like he was in his late 50s said and Dino felt his skin crawl feeling him touch him all around his body. He wanted to slap his hands away but he knew his uncle would punish him if he did. Pushing him on the bed, the man smirked and He felt his eyes prick with tears. “Aww don’t cry sweetie. This will only hurt a little” he said, leaning towards him.
Nightmare end
Dino shot up in bed, the dream still fresh in his mind. He touched his face feeling the wetness from his tears and his body being drenched in sweat. He sighed in relief feeling that his shirt and boxers he went to bed in were still on. He tried to lay back down and go back to sleep but couldn’t as he was too scared to close his eyes.
He got up knowing it was inevitable to go back to sleep and quietly left his room to go to S.Coups and Jeonghan’s room. He didn’t want to wake them at all but he couldn’t help it as they were always the ones that would comfort him after having a nightmare about his childhood past that he would erase if he had the chance.
Making it to their shared bedroom, Dino hesitated to knock on the door, scared that they would be upset at being woken up so early in the morning even though they have a long and busy schedule today. He only stood there for a few minutes but it felt like eternity.
He jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder and out of reflex he slapped the hand off and shoved them to the floor. He turned and immediately felt horrible when it was no other than one of the two people he wanted for comfort. It was S.Coups. “H-hyung,” Dino said, eyes watering and the older got up from the floor, pulling the boy into a comforting hug, Dino’s head buried in his hyung’s shoulder. “It’s alright baby. I shouldn’t have grabbed your shoulder like that. I’m sorry that I frightened you. Nightmare?” S.Coups said feeling when Dino nodded his head hearing him sniffle.
“Let’s stop the tears alright? You’re here and you are safe with me. No one is here to harm you” S.Coups said pecking Dino’s forehead as the door opened showing a sleep eyed Jeonghan who looked more alert after seeing Dino. Jeonghan looked over at S.Coups who mouthed ‘nightmare’ and Jeonghan understood.
“Hey darling. You want to cuddle with me and Coups?” Jeonghan asked gently, running his fingers through Dino’s hair. Dino made grabby hands towards Jeonghan who opened his arms so the maknae could cuddle into them as they moved into the bedroom.
Jeonghan settled him and Dino in the bed while S.Coups closed the door. S.Coups smiled watching as Dino molded his body to Jeonghan’s as he melted against the older while Jeonghan continued to run his fingers through their maknae’s hair soothingly. “Coups hyung” Dino mumbled and S.Coups knew that he could never deny their baby anything and joined the two on the bed, laying on Dino’s other side cuddling up to Dino’s back. Both hyungs knew they were going to be more tired than the rest of the group but it was worth it as long as their baby was taken care of.
