Summary
When Balon Greyjoy lost his rebellion, Theon was the price for his father's disobedience. Despite the circumstances of this relocation, he ends up finding company in the form of his captor's son, Robb, and their relationship grows from brotherly to loyal friends to something more than either of them are willing to admit. This spans from Theon's arrival in Winterfell to the events of the first book/season. There's no spoilers for the later books, since this is a prequel-type. Mostly book canon, with a mix of the TV show's version of events/characters.
