But then his voice became deeper, each word emphasized with badly concealed venom and hatred. “But if you fail to do so, even by a single second, then you must accept your fate, resign and hand over your title, and go back to whatever rusty old apartment you came from. The smirk on his face grew as he saw the blonde girl pale. She knew that he had deliberately included the fact she had to resign if she lost, for he was aware that making her give up on her own would be a bigger blow to her pride rather than firing her from the job.
