Summary
The old wounds the past can open up are rarely fatal. This time, it’s a rare exception.
When Sylvie’s ex-fiancé Harrison returns to Chicago and claims he’s a changed man, Sylvie’s unsure whether to trust this new version of him. She’s built a good life— a fulfilling career, nearly a year of dating Matt Casey, friends and family that love her. Sylvie doesn’t want any of those things compromised over someone like her ex.
