“Okay, I’m here! Want to explain why the hell you have a cat?” Sam said and he flew in from the window.
“Did you come in through the window?” Bucky asked, “I have a door…”
“Not the point! Where’s the cat?” Sam started looking under the couch.
“Here.” Bucky handed Sam the cat.
“Aww, he’s adorable!” Sam gushed.
“ She is.” Bucky said, “Now what do I do with her?”
“You’re not keeping her?” Sam asked.
“She followed me home. What do cats even eat?” Bucky started looking through his pantry.
“No idea, but we are keeping her.” Sam said, cuddling the cat.
“She needs a name,” Bucky said absentmindedly.
“Totally” Sam agreed.
There was a silence as Bucky found a bowl and put some water in it.
“She followed you home so…” Sam trailed off.
“Alpine” Bucky said, taking her from Sam and putting her down next to the bowl.
“Okay Alpine! Welcome to your new home!” Sam said, lifting Alpine and hugging her.
“Put her down!” Bucky said taking Alpine from Sam.
“I think we’ll all get along fine!” Sam said.
