- Sam was getting back into the service.
- They had managed to win him over but telling him about operation Falcon.
- You were worried for your dad, but you were older now so you understood the importance of it.
- You were often brought to training sessions and learnt all about the technology behind the wings.
- You found redwing ridiculously cute, even if your dad did use it to make sure you were behaving.
- When your dad went out on missions you were left with Aunt Sarah and The Boys.
- It was fun and your Aunt Sarah was a sucker for spoiling you, especially when it came to treats.
- She was the one to teach you to cook, at first it was a way of distracting you from worrying about Sam, but then you came to love it and often helped Sarah with orders.
- When he came home from a mission you and your dad had a tradition to get take away and watch films for the whole night.
- You would always fall asleep first and Sam would carry you up to bed before tucking you in.
- You had also come to be remarkably close to Riley, your dad's best friend, so your worry was also over him during missions. You didn't want to lose either of them.
- Unfortunately, Riley was killed in action, something you and your dad mourned for an awfully long time – Sam giving up the wings and retiring for the second time not ready to look at them again just yet.
- It took about a year before you and Sam were okay again, after leaning on each other as well as Aunt Sarah you had become even closer than before.
