Theory: everyone is talking about the orange side being some form of wrath but i really don’t ’t think this is going to be the case. wrath, while a strong emotion, doesn’t really fit with how the sides see themselves. patton holds all of thomas’s strong emotions except virgil. however the reason for this is virgil is more than just common fear he is the mental disorder anxiety. some may argue that roman having love as one of his traits can also give proof it may be wrath, however love is not his MAIN trait. (that would be creativity) so in my opinion having a side be a strong emotion as their main trait (again anxiety in this case does not count as he represents a disorder) doesn’t make any sense with the theme this show is carrying out. while i can’t know for sure what the orange side represents until it is released, i believe the most likely option (in my opinion) is that it will be insecurity (the feeling of never being enough, or that what your doing doesn’t matter) this trait is shown very strongly towards the end of this episode when logan blows up at remus for ignoring him and practically invalidating his purpose. we see throughout the show that logan is always informing those around him that his function is vital to thomas, however as of the episode “selfishness vs selflessness redux” where logan’s input was disregarded and Ignored we “coincidentally” see our very first trace of the orange side. (the orange 43110) my theory is that as logan becomes more and more insecure of his importance the more orange we will see. after all insecurities often ignore logic :)
