So Bakugou had a crush, that crush happened to be Midoriya, him and Midoriya were friends now, and he was never going to admit said crush because A, he doesn't talk about feelings, B, that's embarrassing as fuck and even if he knows for a fact he can get bitches, bro's, and binary hoes to all swoon for him, there is a slight, slight, small, miniscule chance that Midoriya would reject him, and C, they were just friends now after years of rivalry and one-sided hatred of each other.
And that was it. Bakugou started being able to control freaking out a bit less and him and Midoriya became closer once more.
Then Midoriya had to go fuck it up by wearing those frilly fucking collars that were so, so, so....
