Work Text:

Ah, summer break. A time for leisure, relaxation, and fun times with friends. New animes and games are awaiting to be played, and there were lots of things to do with this free time. Every student, excluding the work-a-holics and the fans of school, look forward to this famed break.

"HELP ME I'M GOING TO DIE!!"

Well, almost everyone.

A limo sped down the highway at almost 90 miles per hour. If you squinted hard enough or drive fast enough to keep up with the limo, you could see 3 figures on top of the car. One of them smirked cockily, brushing her teal twin tails out of the way.

"You've done good so far." Miku grinned at Pico, who was trying not to fall off of the speeding limo. Despite the situation, the ginger looked like he was really enjoying himself. After all, Boyfriend did tell Miku that Pico was one of her biggest fans.

A little while back, Boyfriend had introduced Pico to his big sister. Miku had been pestering him relentlessly about getting a date and even set up the cyan-haired lad on blind dates in hopes of getting him a lover. When he finally got one and shared it with her, she was ecstatic and wanted to meet them right away.

When she found out that Pico was a guy, it surprised her. It's always a bit of a surprise to find out that a loved one was gay or lesbian or anything of the sort. It wasn't a bad surprise in any way though. Miku was just happy that Boyfriend was finally able to get a steady partner. That, and she always suspected that Boyfriend was queer.

However, Miku was worried, though. She had no idea what this Pico guy's backstory was, what he did for a living, or even whether he was a toxic person or not! So, she did the only logical thing she could think of; put the couple in danger and see what Pico would do!

The first thing she did, before putting them in danger of course, was follow them around and spy on the couple. Len helped her out with that, as Miku had no idea how to spy on people. She was grateful for such an awesome boyfriend like him.

Boyfriend and Pico often went on dates, like to the movie theaters and cafes and the like. Pico would often buy Boyfriend little things that he knew the cyan-haired boy liked, like donuts. How sweet. Pico was short-tempered, yes, but he was patient too. That is, he was able to deal wth Boyfriend's scatterbrained nature longer than the majority of other people. Maybe he thought it was cute, or maybe he just tuned him out. Who knows? She hasn't seen Pico hit Boyfriend or yell at him or anything, so that's a start. Miku had begun to see the ginger lad as boyfriend material, but she wasn't ready to accept him yet. She still had to put him through the trails she had planned!

After her little spy mission, she hired a hit man to go after Boyfriend. Of course, she wasn't going to ACTUALLY hurt Boyfriend. That's absurd. She made sure to specify that Boyfriend was not to be harmed and just make Pico think that the former was actually being hunted. Miku half-expected Pico to high tail it away from the scene, but instead, the ginger defended Boyfriend and even shot the hitman!

The next thing Miku did was have her best friend Monster - according to Miku, he's a really nice guy despite how he looks - pretend that he was going to eat the couple. Pico rap-battled his ass, spitting bars at Monster, and even shot him when the lemon-headed man didn't back off. Miku did everything she could to make up to Monster for the injury.

And now, she's testing Pico to see if he really was the good person that she started to think he was. And the only rational way of doing that was speeding on the highway, endangering both herself and the couple, while singing against the ginger. This was more of a curiosity thing than anything, being that she wanted to see if the bars Pico spat that Monster spoke of were truly as epic as they seemed to be. And they were so far. But there was one last song that they both had to sing. Speaking of which...

"How are you doing, Bee?" She looked over to see if Boyfriend was okay.

"HELP ME!!!" Boyfriend gripped onto the speakers for dear life as he tried not to fall off. Tears were pouring from his eyes, enough to make a river from the amount alone.

"Good, okay." Miku turned back to Pico. "Last song!!"

Popipo began to play, and the powerful bass caused Boyfriend to bounce up and down. This got more screams and pleas to stop the limo out of him.

Oh dear god. So this was how he died. Falling off the limo that's going way past the speed limit and landing on the highway, possibly breaking bones and definitely getting run over by a car in the process. He didn't even get to have sex yet! Or drink alcohol!! Maybe he'll get the chance when he's in heaven.

Much to his demise, Boyfriend got launched off of the speakers due to another powerful beat drop. Just as he was about to lose any hope of getting back on (and possibly inside) the limo, a pair of strong arms caught him and lifted him back to safety and...

"Thank you so so so much- Wait, huh?! No! Don't put me back!! AAAAAAAHH NOOOOOO!! MIKU!HELP ME!!"

...was placed back up on the dreaded speakers. Boyfriend gripped onto the speakers as hard as he could and resumed to his regularly scheduled screaming and crying. He was starting to despise these speakers. And limos. And highways. A car will never be the same again in Boyfriend's eyes.

The song finished and Miku stared, satisfied, at Pico. The limo skidded to a halt, and both Miku and Pico had to hold onto something to keep them from falling off. Boyfriend, who was still crying hysterically, got launched off of the speakers and caught by Miku.

"Congratulations, Pico!" Miku grinned at the ginger, nuzzling her little brother close. "You've won my approval. I say you can date my little brother."

"I- Um- I- Thanks." Pico struggled to get the words out. He stood right in front of the famed Miku, one of the singers that he idolized.

Miku set down Boyfriend, who stood in a daze. The gears were slowly but surely turning in his head. When he was finally able to register that the limo was no longer moving and he was safe, he flung himself at Pico.

"You did it! You did it! YOU DID IT!!" He cheered. He grinned at Miku and clung to Pico like glue. With his big sister's approval, it looks like dating Pico is going to be a lot easier from now on.

Being that, he won't have to sit on top of speakers while zooming down a highway anymore.

Notes:

started out as an idea of 'What if Miku didn't think of Pico as husbando material?'
