Summary
For some inexplicable reason, he suddenly wanted something to live for. What a symbolic tragedy, to get struck with a note of inspiration severe enough to drive him out of his house at the beginning of the end of the world.
As in: The pale visitor, homeowner, and the neighbor's daughter flee Sebezh for a glimmer of a chance.(Original AU concept by @aray_pro4444 on Twitter! All credit goes to them in those regards, even the protag is named what they called him, please check out their artwork and show them some love!)

Summary
Palegun fic where the protagonist forces himself outside while the pale guy guards him. He's sad, he's depressed, but hey he won't be alone for long thanks to this creepy visitor who follows him around like a watch dog.
Keep in mind, this will be a slow burn romance. Because I'm a mega sucker for them.

Summary
After two months of hiding it seems the sun is finally returning to normal and the visitors, unable to handle the temperature change, are rapidly dying off. With it being safe to return outside the homeowner’s guests set out to return to their lives. For the first time since the “apocalypse” he finds himself alone and oddly enough the man finds that he no longer enjoys the solitude that he once craved. Eager for something familiar, he decides to open his home to guests again. The homeowner quickly learns to be careful what you wish for when a familiar pale visitor returns, this time as his new roommate.

A Palegun fic where they end up as roommates. Intruder regresses to a more human-like state as it gets colder, and becomes more monstrous as it warms up (Infection goes dormant and flares up based on temperature).

If i had a nickel for every time i read protag dreaming of dancing with his wife and it turns into a nightmare with his wife transforming into the pale visitor i would have 2 nickels -

"I wish to take shelter here in exchange for my protection. A deal, if you'd like." He presses his eye at your peephole like he could actually see you from it, and you back away from it instinctively. You aren't that foolish to make a deal with a visitor.
"No deal."
He slams his hands to the door with a vicious growl. "Do as you wish, homeowner. I can sense your fear of change. It will only hurt you more the longer it takes you to embrace it. I shall be where you left me when you change your mind."
