Chapter Text
Nobody Questions Izuku Midoriya when he jumps like a startled cat at the slightest unexpected provocation. They know something from his past, some type of omnipresent ghost, clings to his mind. Is it Bakugo related? Probably, but they refuse to drag it up to the surface before Izuku is ready to talk about it.
After the Mall incident, the fact that nobody ever tries to talk to, or touch Izuku from behind is totally coincidental.
Nobody Questions why Izuku flinches if anyone sees him writing in his notebook. They just do their best to nonverbally show their approval, Mina's preferred method is Headpat sneak attacks.
Nobody Questions how Izuku learned to vanish into a crowd, despite having green fluffy hair. The reason he's better at becoming invisible than the girl with a Quirk for it is his and his alone. If Shoto and Ochaco are a little more touchy feely with him when he reappears, that's a total coincidence.
It's also a coincidence that Katsudon ends up being dinner whenever Izuku looks like he wants the world to shut up and let him stay in his head space.
Nobody wants past trauma aired as new trauma piles up, So nobody questions Izuku about the scars and quirks that can't be blamed on his quirk
