'I cant breath.' is all i can think as i try and scoop away the sludge like liquid. until i see a figure made of tan and red come down from the sky.' i guess this is the last person i'm gonna see now' i think internally chuckling.
"its a goddamn kid in there." i hear the figure mumble. i try to scoop it away but my body is getting weak.
"kid don't give up on me now stay awake ill get you out." i see them put i finger up the their ear like they are gonna use ear piece to talk to other people. that's all i see before passing out.
when i finally wake up i see a bright white light. as i get more used to the light i notice the white walls and medical supplies around me. then i look next to me i see red wings. 'red wings tan outfit i was saved by HAWKS like the Hawks.'
I must of said that out loud because i hear a chuckle then hawks said "i guess you know me so there is no need for me to introduce myself. do you know what happend?"
iIlook over towards him " the sludge guy was trying to choke me but then i saw you come from the sky and talk into a ear piece i think you were gonna get help but i passed out right before then."
I look down into my lap."How am i gonna pay for the hospital visit i'm broke,homeless'...'and quirkless" i whispered the last part.
"Don't worry little bird i got this one and i was thinking if it's ok with my boyfriend would you like to come live with me and my boyfriend."
I just sit there and stare at him like he is a dinosaur in 2021. " um sure i guess but what do you want with me i'm quirkless im worthless." i say sounding curious but sad.
" Well as a pro hero i am meant to help people and a middle schooler like yourself should have roof over their head plus i have a soft spot for kids." hawks says looking at me simpathentacly. i look for a lie in his eyes but i don't see one.
"Ok i guess."
I get out of the hospital 1 week later. Its silent as we check out and walk back to my "home". It feels so weird to say because I haven't had a home in years. ever since mom died when I was 7.once we get there i take a moment to take a look at the outside.
its a light blue house with two floors a dark sproos picket fence there are some tiger lillies in front of the house and a little pebble path from the front door to the sidewalk.
we walk down the pebble path up to the front door hawks pulls out his keys and unlocks the door.he steps through the door. i stand there for a second before following him inside.
"wow its so pretty"i say while looking around
