Jon held Tree-kun's hand, thinking about the future.
"Tree-kun, summer is going to end soon.... what will we do? What will Lucy think of us?"
Lucy... She had never liked Tree-kun. He stole her only friend- Jon- away from her.
It was in December, right before winter break started. She could remember it like it was yesterday.
Jon shakily walked up to him, a letter with a heart-shaped sticker on it in hand.
"Tree-kun!" He yelled, clearly not knowing how loud he was. He bowed, holding the letter out to Tree-kun.
"This-This is for you!" He turned away, hiding his red face.
The tree read it, going quiet for a moment.
"Jon.... did you write this? I can see the spelling and grammar errors-"
"Shut up! Yes or no, Tree-kun?!"
Tree-kun laughed, patting Jon's head tenderly. "It's a yes."
Lucy watched in horror as Tree-kun and Jon hugged each other, Jon crying into Tree-kun's shoulder.
Her hand balled into a fist, her nails digging into her skin.
Tree-kun dare steal Jon, all to himself? That selfish bastard.
If she couldn't have Jon- then nobody could.
She plotted tree-kun's demise.

*Earlier that week*
Jon woke up, feeling refreshed. This was strange, he always woke up tired. He glanced at his clock. 9:50?! He was late for school! He quickly put on a cute outfit and ran downstairs, almost tripping. He shoved a piece of bread in his mouth, grabbed his bag, and ran off.
"I'm going to be late for school!!" His mind raced, not knowing that tree-kun was right around the corner. WHAM!
Jon rubbed his forehead, his toast had slipped out of his mouth. He looked up
"T-tree kun!! Im so sorry !!!" He cried, grabbed his toast off of the pavement and taking a bite.
Tree-kun let out a low sigh, then smiled. "It's alright Jon, I know how clumsy you are."
"S-shut up, b-baka!!" Jon lightly punched Tree-kun, which got a laugh out of the oak giant.
"Let's walk to school together, Jon-chan."
"O....ok!!!!"
