Grey Fullbuster, personnage principal de cette histoire était un chasseur de dragon. Sa mère adoptive, Arcana, était un dragon stellaire. Elle avait enseigné à Grey les pouvoirs de mage constellationniste. Grey était ainsi théoriquement capable d'invoquer les divers esprits célestes issus d'une autre dimension : le monde des esprits. Il possédait ainsi les douze clés d'or du zodiaque. Il avait grandi auprès d'Arcana et des douze esprits du zodiaque, notamment Léo, avec qui il s'entendait particulièrement.
Mais un jour, Arcana disparut et ne laissa à Grey qu'un trousseau magique avec les douze clés du zodiaque. Cependant, sans contrat, Grey ne pouvait plus tous les invoquer. Son but fut alors de retrouver Arcana et ses amis esprits.
Jamais il n'aurait pu imaginer rencontrer tant de nouvelles personnes et vivre autant d'aventures.Potentiellement natsu x grey (slowburn)
