Work Text:

Reggie plays with the card in his hands, looking over the information. He knows he should just text her. He didn't realize how easy it was to just hook up. There was no need for the awkward flirting or asking of going out on a date. Hooking up was just sex. But, this. This could be something more. And Reggie wants it, but he's scared.

"Dude, you got Bailey Evans's number?" Luke says, snatching the card from his hands. "She's like the best photographer in the business. Nice job, Reg."

"Well, I-"

"Reg, call her and ask her to take pictures for our album," Alex says, from his spot on the couch. He stops playing with Willie's hair for a second, which makes the professional skater glare at the blonde. Alex rolls his eyes and goes back to playing with Willie's hair.

"Shouldn't we have Flynn call?" Julie asks. "She is our manager."

"Uh," Reggie says. "I'm just gonna-"

Reggie totally forgets about the card as he goes to the bathroom. He cools his face off with a few splashes of cold water. He looks at himself in the mirror. What is he doing? He's Reggie freaking Peters. He's great. Well, at least his friends think so. Yet, he's terrified of texting this girl. This girl was so pretty and she has to have a good heart. He's never seen someone so kind for getting coffee spilled on them. He tries to remember that she did say she hopes he texts her. But there's something in the back of his mind that tells him he'd be bugging her.

"Come on, Peters," he says, pulling at his hair. "The worse that can happen is that she'll ignore you."

Reggie leaves the bathroom. He finds that Alex's bedroom door is closed. He walks straight pass, trying not to think about what Willie and Alex are probably doing in there. He finds that Julie is in their home studio. He waves as he passes by. He enters the kitchen, seeing Luke was missing. He looks for the card. He sighs as he finds that it's gone. How is he going to talk to Bailey now?

Today is the day of their photoshoot for their new album. Reggie is styling his hair in the mirror. He always does his own hair when they take pictures. He likes it to be a certain way. He smiles as it looks good. He actually looks good. The record company likes Reggie's typical rocker style, so he's wearing his leather jacket. He has on a white shirt and ripped jeans.

"Looking good, Reg," Luke says, bumping shoulders with him. Luke, for once, had short sleeves. He's wearing a graphic t-shirt with black jeans and a gray beanie. His missing his typical chains.

"You're wearing sleeves," Reggie jokes, getting a harsh poke in the side.

"Reggie, we're gonna start by getting single pictures of you," the assistant says. Reggie nods. He hasn't met the photographer yet. He walks by Alex, who was wearing his signature pink. He had on a pink shirt with a denim jacket over and black pants. Alex was getting his makeup done. That's the only thing Reggie hates about photoshoots in the feel of makeup on his face.

"Hi, I'm-" Reggie turns towards the photographer. "Reggie?"

"Bailey?" he says. She looks so pretty. She long hair is in a bun. She's wearing a a blazer this time over a nice shirt.

"You never texted," she says, crossing her arms. But she has a smile on her face.

"Uh," he says, rubbing the back of his neck. "I lost your card. Well, I guess not exactly. I think my bandmate took it."

"Well, I guess we should get started," she says. "Stand over here."

Reggie follows her instructions. He's a little sad she did say anything about him losing it. But he's also a little happy she didn't, just in case she got really upset. He listens to her every instruction as she tells him how to stand.

"Like this?" He has his hands in his pocket. He's a little bit angled so he's not standing facing the camera directly.

"Uh, try," she walks over to him. She lightly pushes his shoulder, so his shoulder's are relaxed. She goes back looking at her camera. "Tilt your head down a little." He does, a piece of his hair falls onto his forehead. "Perfect. Add a little bit of a smirk."

They go through multiple other poses. She brings the camera over to him, showing him the photos. She sees which ones he likes and which ones he wants to try again. She works pretty well with him. She then has him grab his bass.

"Just play," she says, adjusting the mic so it's exactly where she wants it. "I want to get some candid ones."

So, Reggie does. She also has him sing into the mic. He decides to do one of his favorite moves. Every time he sings his solo in Now Or Never, he always runs his hand through his hair. It makes all the people who thinks he's attractive swoon. Reggie can't help but look to see how Bailey reacted. Sadly, he can't tell what she was thinking because of the camera in the way.

Reggie gets a break until it's time for group photos. While she's working with his bandmates, Reggie watches her. He can't help it. Something about watching her work had him drawn in. He can tell how much she loves taking pictures. Soon, it's time for group photos. He finds himself, leaning on Alex's shoulder. She gets them to joke around. One of the photos, the boys are holding Julie, who looks a little bit scared. Reggie can't help but laugh at her face.

"Okay," Bailey says, once they put Julie down. "Let's get some candids of you playing."

They play like normal, having fun on stage. Reggie sends Alex his typical look he gives when Julie and Luke flirt. He sings at the mic with Luke. They play a couple of songs as she gets photos. Then they are done for the day. As his bandmates go to get changed, Reggie walks up to Bailey who is starting to put her equipment away.

"Hey," he says. She looks up.

"Hey," she stands from where she was crouching.

"So, can I get your card again?" he asks.

"How about I put my number in your phone?" she suggests. "So, you don't lose it again." Reggie feels his face heat up.

"Yeah," he says, running to grab his phone from his backpack. Luke makes a joke on why Reggie is moving so fast. He gets back to Bailey, handing it over. She hand sit back, their hands brushing. "I'll text you."

"You better," she smiles.

Yep, Reggie is definitely texting her.
