Work Text:
Around him, all was dark. It fell into a dead-end abyss, and it was as if everything around him began to be distorted little by little. What he feared most was to forget, spending an eternity alone, in a subway car, could make him go crazy.
His fables were fading away, making him littler than before. Time isn't a trust thing now. He's been there for thousands of years. What's a couple of thousands of years more?
The only thing he has in his mind: his companions. He hopes that the 49% of Kim Dokja would be enough for them. He prays for it.
He misses them.
He misses him. His Yoo Joonghyuk. And that hurts.
Because he knows that they'll never be together again. It's impossible now. He's the Most Ancient Dream, he has to preserve the universe, basically.
Without the Most Ancient Dream, he doesn't want to imagine the chaos that could happen. No, he has to endure.
But at the same time, one part of him just wishes come back and be selfish. Just to live with Yoo Joonghyuk and loving him. Both of them, loving each other forever.
These are his thoughts.
His wishes.
But, in that moment, a knock on the door is ringing. And then, someone is yelling his name.
That's the last thing he remembers.
