Summary
The love between sharks and merfolk is strictly forbidden. In the old days, the offspring of the two were deemed too dangerous. The elders did what they felt was best and called for the execution of the inter-special children. This mixed breed was hunted down and killed. Their parents were punished to set an example. Their fins were clipped and had their scales removed. Merfolk wouldn't dare interact with a shark henceforth.
