1. goodnight kisses
Their schedules never seemed to match up. Shoyou was an early to bed, early to rise type person while Kei was a night owl who preferred to sleep in as late as possible. Along with their differing careers and the fact they weren’t always in the same country they tried to make time for each other when they could.
“I’m going to bed,” Shoyou yawned
“Okay,” Kei said, not looking away from his laptop, “I need to finish this email then I’ll be right there.”
By the time Kei sent his email (and read and answered a few more pressing messages) Shoyou already brushed his teeth, washed his face, and changed into more comfortable clothes to sleep. He smiled sleepily as Kei sat on the bed next to him.
“Sorry, it took longer than I thought,” he stretched out next to him on the bed and pulled him closer.
Shoyou squirmed until their chests were pressed together and he was looking up at Kei, “s’okay.”
Kei brushed the back of his fingers down his cheek and tilted Shoyou’s head back so he could lean down and kiss him tenderly. Shoyou practically melted into the kiss.
“I’ll see you in the morning.”
“I’ll see you first.”
