This… did not go the way Naib thought things would.
So maybe it had been a little exciting to be forced into an impromptu lockdown drill in the supply room, all alone with his definitely-not-crush Norton Campbell.
And maybe his heart had skipped a beat for more reasons than one when the lights flickered, dimmed, and then went out, Norton clinging onto him a little tighter than he had expected.
What Naib didn’t factor in while trying to keep a straight face was the Norton Campbell - irritating, cocky, and infuriatingly confident - being afraid of the dark.
Because Lady Luck just never lets things go his way, huh?
