Thunderbolt and Lightning

Summary:

The storm answers when Thor calls it. His armour is somewhat more reluctant.

Notes:

Yes, this is pure nonsense, and I refuse to be ashamed of that. For Thor bingo and Tony Stark bingo, because why not.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Thor raises Mjölnir high above his head, summoning the storm. There's a rumble of thunder, the room lit by a bright flash as lightning rends the sky behind him, and his Midgardian garb vanishes, replaced by-

"Uh, Thor, buddy, you seem to be missing something," Bruce says, looking anywhere but at Thor.

"Oh, there is nothing missing there," Tony murmurs, earning himself a disapproving glance from Steve.

Thor lowers Mjölnir, more for the comfort of Bruce (still avoiding looking at Thor) and Steve (whose face is rapidly approaching the colour of a firetruck) than because he feels any discomfort with the way Tony is leering at him.

A chibi-style Thor, naked, holding Mjolnir in such a place as to protect his modesty (Ha! Like Thor has modesty!). He is standing in a room with a cream carpet and large windows, through which a large fork of lightning is visible.

"Shall we depart?" he says. "I fear this villain will not dispatch themselves."

"We shall," Steve answers firmly, eyes fixed on a point just beyond Thor's left shoulder. "You will join us once you've put on pants."

"Killjoy," Tony mutters, and lets out an appreciative whistle as Thor turns his back to comply with Steve's instruction.

Thor resists the urge to strike a pose. He'll save that for later, he decides.
