Episode 8 - Come Find Me If You Have Any Questions. Come Even If You Don’t

Summary:

Too caught up with his own feelings with the new budding friendship between Tae Kyung and Shin Woo, Da On forgets that he wasn’t the only one with feelings

Notes:

Hey hey! I’m back with another episode. This will be split into two parts. The second part will be focusing on the MT the boys will be on. Hopefully this can soothe your guys’ heart after episode 12 because I think the Da On/Tae Kyung ship is sinking :’)

Chapter Text

“What are you doing here?” Tae Kyung asked in confusion, the moment he opened the door and found Da On standing on the other side.

Dressed in an oversized tee (which looked like it was something that belongs to Da On) and sweatpants, and hair slightly ruffled, it just occured to Da On that he might have interrupted his boyfriend’s sleep.

“I’m sorry,” Da On apologised, frowning to himself for not thinking about the time, “did I wake you up?”

Hiding behind a yawn, Tae Kyung shook his head, “you didn’t. I was in a middle of a call with Shin Woo.”

“Shin Woo?” Da On echoed back like an idiot.

Tae Kyung nodded as he ran his fingers through his hair and explained that Shin Woo wanted to confirm a few details for the trip tomorrow, hence the call.

“I see that you guys have gotten closer to give each late night calls,” Da On lightly commented, unable to hide the jealousy in his tone.

Unfamiliar with the tone that Da On was using, Tae Kyung gave him strange look. “We don’t give each other late night calls. He dropped me a call, asked me about tomorrow and the call ended.”

Clearly not pacified by Tae Kyung’s explanation, Da On decided not to say anything. The two of them stared at each other in silence, both waiting for the other to say something first.

Why are they like this?

“Da On, is there a reason for you to come and find me at…” Tae Kyung paused to take a look at the clock behind him, “10pm?”

“Probably the same reason why Shin Woo is calling you to ask you about the field trip details when he could really ask anyone else,” Da On mumbled underneath his breath. Tae Kyung furrowed his eyebrows in confusion but if Tae Kyung heard it, he gave no indication that he had.

Thinking this was simply getting ridiculous and hearing Shin Woo’s name threw him off guard, Da On blurted out, “why did you just drop this off without saying a word?”

Da On held up his umbrella that he loaned Tae Kyung the night before and the paperbag that held cold medicine. He knew that he might sound slightly irrational and his anger is misplaced but he is starting to get really irritated at the fact that Shin Woo is giving his boyfriend a call late at night over something as lame as “wanting to confirm a few details for the trip tomorrow” when he was the vice-president who was involved in the planning.

“Oh,” Tae Kyung said, staring at the paperbag, looking indifferent. At times like this, Da On wished that Tae Kyung could be more expressive with his emotions.

“I saw that you were busy with So Hee and I didn’t want to intrude on your time with her.”

Now it was his turn to feel confused. What did Tae Kyung mean by that?

“Why would you be intruding my time with her?” Da On asked. He frowned at Tae Kyung as he struggled to understand his boyfriend, “It wasn’t as if I planned to meet her. She just happened to drop by the council room while I was waiting for you.”

“Oh.” Tae Kyung’s mouth shaped like an “o”.

“Wait, when you say intrude… are you jealous about So Hee?”

That’s when it clicked in Da On’s mind. He scolded himself for not being as attentive as he should have with Tae Kyung’s feelings. Here he was getting angry over Shin Woo, he didn’t realize he was almost doing the same thing with So Hee but only worst because So Hee has expressed her interest in him countless of times whereas Shin Woo has been keeping his feelings towards Tae Kyung to himself (which he is obviously failing because it’s just so obvious).

With  Tae Kyung’s eyes immediately looked away and a slight blush began to appear on his cheeks, it was enough for Da On to know that he just hit a bullseye. Shaking his head, Da On engulfed the smaller boy in a hug. While he was busy being jealous about Shin Woo, it didn’t occur to Da On that Tae Kyung might feel the same towards So Hee.

He gently stroke the back of Tae Kyung’s head, soothing the boy who he can feel is currently pouting against his chest. Da On allowed himself to rest his chin on the top of his boyfriend’s head, enjoying the warmth Tae Kyung is currently providing him. When he felt his boyfriend finally relaxed against him, Da On pressed a kiss on the top of his head and decided to bury his face into the crook of Tae Kyung’s neck.

Pabo ,” Da On mumbled against Tae Kyung’s skin. He couldn’t resist the smile that made its way to his face when Tae Kyung involuntarily let out a shiver, “you’re the only one I want to give my time to. You have my time.” Da On placed a gentle kiss on Tae Kyung’s neck.

“You have my attention,” Da On pulled away to place another kiss on Tae Kyung’s right cheek.

“You have my heart.” Another kiss on his left cheek.

“You have me,” Da On softly reassured, looking directly into Tae Kyung’s eyes. Cupping the latter’s face, Da On pulled his boyfriend into a slow kiss. Da On coaxed the latter’s mouth open with a gentle nibble, stroking Tae Kyung’s cheeks. Tae Kyung let out a soft sigh as he allowed Da On to explore the crevices of his mouth. What felt like forever, when in reality was a couple of minute, Da On finally pulled away and took a look at his boyfriend, lips pink and slightly swollen, eyes glossy but it was the way that Tae Kyung was staring back at him was what gets Da On the most. The openness in his eyes, filled with emotions that Da On could only hope he wasn’t just imagining it because he was sure that he had the same look in his eyes .
