Kageyama took a few seconds to calm his breathing, already feeling sleepy after their nightly activities. He moved the phone away then, just to check the time, before placing it on his ear again. “It’s late.”
“Yeah, we should sleep.” Hinata mumbled. “See you tomorrow, boyfriend?” He simply hummed in agreement, and was about to hang up when the short boy spoke again. “Oh wait, I forgot to ask you. Do you wanna stay over at my house this Friday?”
Suddenly, he wasn’t as sleepy anymore.
“Stay over?”
“Yeah, my family is going to visit my aunt, but I said I had practice on Saturday so I couldn’t go.”
“We don’t have practice this Saturday, coach said…”
“I know, Kageyama.” The boy interrupted him. “That’s, um, kind of the point.”
The setter blinked a few times, a heavy blush taking over his cheeks as his heartbeat increased.
