"Toni are you sure me being here is a good idea? I don't want to get in the way and if I capture anything I shouldn't" Toni cut you off by placing a kiss on your lips.
"Y/N there's nothing to be worried about ok? Your photos are amazing and everyone in the district knows that now come on before you make me late" You got out of the car and grabbed your camera backpack which was filled with all the cameras, lenses, ring lights, batteries and computer inside. Attached to the side was your tripod, you and Antonio walked up to the intelligence unit and Hank told you to set up in the breakroom.
You had just finished setting up your camera with your wide-angle zoom lens when Halstead walked into the breakroom and started making a cup of coffee. Of course, you couldn't help but snap a few shots of him making his coffee. "So what exactly are you doing?" Halstead asked turning around
"Day in a life of the CPD intelligence unit, I've already done 51 and med because I need more for my portfolio before I can move onto things like weddings" You explained before walking out to the bullpen. You started taking pictures of the team working away but kept snapping a lot more of your boyfriend rather than the rest of the unit.
"Y/N let's see some of these pictures you've got," Ruzek said and you walked into the breakroom and grabbed your computer. You quickly uploaded all the pictures from the day so far before leaving your computer for the rest of the unit to look at.
"Y/N stay we know your pictures are amazing there's no need to shy away," Atwater said and you snapped a few pictures of the team standing around the computer. The team started going through the pictures and you couldn't help but feel like they didn't like them
"How do I buy one?" Erin asked seriously
"Write the numbers you like down and I'll make them into Christmas presents for you all" You explained with a smile on your face. Kim Burgess and Sean Roman walked up the stairs in their blues so you snapped a few pictures of them. Lindsay, Halstead, Ruzek and Atwater each handed you post-it notes with their favourite pictures on but you wanted a team photo just like you got with 51 and med.
"Guys, can you all stand with each other?" They nodded and stood in a line with their arms connecting them. You took a few shots
"Now Ruzek tell a terrible joke" Ruzek looked around not knowing what to do for a minute or two and everyone started laughing making it the perfect picture.
"Why's the flash so bright?" Halstead complained and you just laughed
"It's bright so when I edit the photos the colour of your eyes stands out" You explain to intelligence. Once you had got enough photos and your boyfriend was done for the day you headed home. Once you got home you started editing your photos and making collages for each member of intelligence hoping to make them happy.
