The first letter is left neatly folded in the Favonius Headquarters.

I wanted to tell you this in person, but I couldn't find you around Mondstadt at all. I heard from the other knights that you were off on your outrider duties as usual. So I decided to leave a letter instead. I'm heading off to Liyue soon. Hopefully they've seen my brother somewhere.
I won't be coming back in a few days to a week though. Sorry about that!

The next letter comes with a box, the cute pattern of a geo slime painted onto it complete with a neatly tied silk ribbon. The letter is attached to it separately by a thin, durable string.

I can call you that, right? I hope you don't miss me too much. I've made it to Liyue Harbour. In fact, I'm sending this through their postal office.
Honestly, the people around here are pretty stuffy compared to back in Mondstadt. I guess it's to be expected of businesspeople, they're out trying to make as much mora as possible. But that's not really my forte, I'm not that great at talking to new people…
That's why I'm really glad to have met you! I'm digressing. What I really wanted to talk about was Liyue's outskirts. There're so many ruins, think of all that treasure! I've already raided a few, squirrelled away a few neat trinkets for sure.
I miss you and everyone else in Mondstadt a lot. I swear I'll go back and visit sometime.
Oh, before I forget. Attached to this letter should be a package with a few nice trinkets I got from Liyue's ruins and also a bouquet of qingxin and glaze lilies. I hope you like them!

Inside the box are exactly as the letter specified, a lovely bouquet of Liyue's finest, along with a few artefacts, looking almost like they're sparkling. The artefacts bear a fiery motif, all lovely shades of red and radiating warmth.

I hope you don't mind me calling you that, I think it's cute! Sorry I haven't written back in a bit. It's a little crazy here in Liyue right now. You've heard the news by now, right? Rex Lapis was found dead.
Long story short, I was suspected for his murder. Crazy thing is, I got saved by one of those Fatui Harbingers. He introduced himself as Childe. I got sent on this quest to look for all the Adepti. I ended up fighting him. Childe, that is. Then right after I had to fight this huge water-god-thing. Its name was Osial. We managed to reseal it underwater but had to sacrifice Miss Ningguang's Jade Palace as a price…
Now that that's all done, I really need a break! I'll finally have time too, and I really miss you. So I'll come back to Mondstadt for a visit next week, for sure.

Letters are sent, one after the other and months pass. Sent alongside gifts, including artefacts and flowers and anything else Lumine could get her hands on. Region after region, she continues to travel from Inazuma to Sumeru, Fontaine and Natlan. Even as far as Snezhnaya. Lumine reaches the end of her journey and reunites with Aether.
It should have been a happy occasion, if not for the Abyss waging war against humanity.
