Lumine could feel the warmth of the sun hit her skin. She knew she should get up. There’s a day of exploration ahead of her, fog to clear off from Tsurumi island or whatever it was called. She wasn’t exactly listening to Katheryne, and she’s forgotten who she’s supposed to talk to. Whatever, she could check her journal later.
The real problem was… this. Wrapped around her were arms. Two pairs of arms, to be precise. One pair was definitely feeling her up, and she didn’t need to open her eyes to know that was the infamous harbinger Childe Tartaglia Ajax himself (Her boyfriend). Another warmer pair of arms were wrapped protectively around her waist, and her brain could determine the other presence as Thoma (Also her boyfriend).
She could remember clearly, she definitely did not fall asleep with these two by her side. No, they had probably entered her teapot after she’d fallen asleep with their respective realm dispatches and decided to cuddle up with her despite the fact that she had other rooms prepared. Heck, she had a room each specifically for both of them! But their shared warmth felt nice, and Lumine decided maybe it wouldn’t be too bad to sleep in. Just a little.
On that thought, the traveler decided not to kick these two dolts out of her bed, and instead allowed their shared warmth to lull her back into slumber, unready for the next scene she’d awake to.

Next she awoke, her groggy mind could only register one thing. Why the hell are there more people on my bed? As her mind awoke, she didn’t feel like registering the presence of light just yet. One thing she could tell, Thoma and Ajax have both gotten out of bed. She could faintly smell the aroma of food, so they were probably in the kitchen preparing either lunch or breakfast.
Next, there are two small bodies pressed up in front of her. A sewn, thick tail brushes up against her thigh, and she can tell it’s Sayu’s. The other little body is extra warm, which means the other one must be Klee. Another body, around her size, is pressed up against her back. The bandaged hand around her waist signals to her that body is Kazuha. One final body lies right behind him, larger than everyone else on the bed. He isn’t cuddling up against anyone, and she can only guess that person is sitting up against the headboard.
“I see you’re awake, princess. Quite the crowd you have here, don’t you?” That smug lilt in his voice. She registers the cooling aura of a cryo vision user now. Kaeya.
“Ugh, fine. I’m up, I’m up.” Lumine groans. She opens her eyes up, blinking as they get used to the bright light filtering into the room and shining her directly in the face. She hears a small sound from Kazuha, his eyes open and sending her a small smile. Seems he’s been up for a while, just wanted to cuddle up against her. Not that that’s anything new, especially for everyone else.
A quiet sound comes from Klee before she opens her eyes. “Is it time to get up?” As soon as she smells the food however, she perks up, getting out of bed and running out at top speed, leaving Sayu alone to lie in slumber. They knew she’d prefer to stay in bed anyway, and Lumine could only hope she wasn’t skipping any work.
Getting out of bed after Kaeya and Kazuha, she went to get ready for the day. Maybe a little shower to wake her up for the day…

Wandering into the kitchen, her eyes widened in surprise at the sheer number of people there.
“Oh! Morning, girlie! What do you fancy today?” The harbinger’s smile alone is enough to perk her up. She’s honestly surprised he hasn’t been attacked yet, considering resident Fatui hater, Master Diluc, is here with Jean too. Eula and Amber sit around the large dinner table she’d added to accommodate all her companions. Amber is chatting away animatedly with Eula before both notice Lumine and greet her together.
She walks up to Childe, talking quietly so only him and his kitchen mate Thoma could hear. “Mmh, I think I’m feeling pancakes today. Want any help ‘Jax?”
This time, their other boyfriend replies. “Don’t worry about it Lumi, me and Childe here can handle it! You can go sit down.” He’s still a little hesitant on calling Childe by his family name, despite Childe assuring him that it’s completely fine by now. Still, they don’t mind. Both of them find it another endearing feature of Thoma and they’ll give him all the time in the world until he feels comfortable saying it.
Lumine gives them both a kiss on the cheek each, or at least tries to, having to tiptoe just attempting to reach their height. Ugh, why did they have to be so tall. They laugh at her struggle, bending down to her height to make it easier for her. Lumine huffs, blushing, and leaves the kitchen.
Taking a seat, she notices Yoimiya talking Ayaka’s head off on a couch in the corner of the room. From Ayaka’s occasional giggles she’s definitely enjoying the company. Noticing Lumine’s staring, they wave at her, one much more enthusiastically than the other. She waves back. At another corner of the table, Bennett, Fischl and Razor chat away while eating. Well, it was more like Bennett and Fischl doing all the talking while Razor nodded along.
From the looks of it, her boyfriends have been cooking for everyone else too. Not a surprise, considering how often this happens. It started off with trusting her realm dispatch with each and every one of her companions.
First it was Ajax, then Xiangling and Hu Tao. Hu Tao spread the word to the other Liyuens, leading to Xingqiu coming over all the time to borrow her built in library, pulling a certain exorcist with him. Following along, she went back to Mondstadt to invite her other companions, Venti and Amber were the ones who came in most frequently, Amber inviting Eula to come with her whenever the Lawrence family member wasn’t busy.
Entering Inazuma, it was then Yoimiya she first invited. Thoma was invited too, but he didn’t enter frequently until he, her and Ajax started dating. Ayaka usually came in whenever she was looking for him. It really just expanded from there, everyone entering and leaving her teapot as they pleased. Whether it was for a place to rest, a free meal or just to see her. She enjoyed the company, which for once did not keep asking her to do things for them.
She remembers when her Mondstadt companions first came to her teapot, only to witness a certain harbinger cooking lunch. They were so suspicious of him then, and she’s sure Diluc is still waiting for a chance to accuse him of something . Everyone else has gotten used to his presence, at least.
Her boyfriends leave the kitchen with her late breakfast in tow, and she almost drools at the sight of the little pancakes they’d shaped into little paws. A lovely treat for their lovely princess. A little after she finishes eating she feels Childe’s hard glare on Kaeya, fully aware that he’d called her princess earlier in the day. She and Thoma had to hold him back from fighting him.

Later in the day when she returns to her teapot with Ajax, she’s greeted by the aura of a very powerful figure. “Ah, nice to see you, Traveler.” Beside her, Miko greets Lumine as well. She sighs, at least it’s Ei and not the Shogun. She smiles back, “Good to see you two too.”
The peaceful greeting is interrupted as they turn to a very loud, boisterous shout. “KUJOU TENGU! I DEMAND A REMATCH!” The large figure of Arataki Itto is practically running circles around Sara while she’s seated, eating, as he demands a fight over and over again. He reminds her of a certain someone. She turns to her side only to find Childe looking away, whistling.
Well it may be a little crowded at times, but the company fills her with warmth. She definitely doesn’t regret letting her companions in.
At that thought she hears a table shatter, Sara standing up and facing Itto with a look of sheer annoyance.
