Francis finishes the last dregs of his pipe; taps it out over the side. He glances around them; no one is within earshot. “You know what I really miss,” he says, so softly that Tom has to lean in to catch it. “Using my mouth on them.”
Tom takes a deep, slow breath in. “Mm,” he says on the exhale. “Nice, that is. Making ‘em squeal.” His eyes have gone soft with reminiscences.
Francis sighs. “None such to be had out here,” he says wistfully.
“What say,” says Tom pensively, “you and I go and consider the subject privately in your cabin?”
