Summary
In the Holy See of Ishgard, and the country surrounding it, there are two boys fated to make arduous climbs to power. As each begins to face their journeys alone, they are brought together. With one seeking vengeance against the Dravanian threat that robbed him of his life, and the other combating the tangled politics of the Holy See and his parentage, they forge a bond in their shared resolve. Only as the years press on do they begin to realize that there is more to living than revenge and justice.
