Wrong Message
Nico just wanted to compose quietly when his sister ran down the stairs, Nico looked up and looked at her confused.
"Something happened?"
"Yes, I need you to do me a favor" Hazel said as she looked at him, Nico hummed affirmatively "I need you to send a message to the confectioner who is going to make the wedding cake, please"
"Why? You can't? " Nico said as he put his guitar aside, realizing that he wasn't going to be able to write anything.
Hazel sighed and shook her head “No, they just called me, they need me to go have some measurements taken for my dress. And you know how long it takes them to give me a turn. Please, Nico. Do me this favor "
Nico sighed and nodded "Okay, tell me the number and what should I tell her"
"Do you have to write?" Nico nodded. "The number is ______, I need you to tell her that I need to delay the appointment for tomorrow or any day that she can"
Nico nodded as he finished writing down the number on his phone and typing the contact "Silena?"
“Yes, I need you to tell her that and that if she asks about something, you answer her. Thank you big brother ”Hazel said as she kissed Nico's cheek and began. Walk away towards the door.
"Wait! But what should I tell her if she asks me anything? "
Hazel stopped and looked at him "If you know the answer, you answer her, if you don't, tell her that I'll answer her later."
Nico sighed in resignation and nodded as he watched his sister walk out the door. He decided to write to her at that time so as not to forget, so he booked the number and sent her a message.
Nico: Hi, I'm Hazel's brother. She had a meeting with you today and she asked me to write to you since she can’t go, there today. She asked me to tell you that she would like to meet the next day you can and apologize for the inconvenience.
After sending the message Nico locked the phone and leaned against the back of the sofa while closing his eyes, he had been on a good writing streak, but with the interruption, he no longer knew how to continue. Before he could decide what to do his phone rang, so he grabbed it and read the message, he couldn't help but blush as he read what he said.
Silena: Hi! I'm sorry to tell you that you have the wrong number. I don't know any Hazel.
"Cazzo, sempre lo stesso" Nico cursed as he checked again if he had made a mistake with a number "No, Hazel deve essersi sbagliata" (Translation: Shit, always the same. No, Hazel must have been wrong)
Nico looked at the message not knowing what to respond to until he decided that he was going to look very bad if he did not respond to the person.
Nico: I'm so sorry. There must have been an error with the number. This makes sense, Hazel is stressed out about the wedding.
Nico looked at his phone for a moment, when he was going to turn it off, three ellipses appeared, indicating that the other person was writing.
Silena: You have nothing to regret, anyone can be wrong. I'm sorry I'm not the person you wanted to talk to.
Nico thought for a moment what to say to him before deciding.
Nico: Hazel's head is in a mess from the wedding, and I ended up getting into her stress by being around her. So sorry to bother you.
Nico looked at his phone waiting for an answer
Silena: Oh Wedding? By any chance, you wouldn't need a cake?
Nico looked at the phone in surprise before answering quickly.
Nico: YES !!!!
Silena: Are you looking for Silena by any chance?
Nico: Doubly yes. Do you have her number?
Nico changed the name of the contact "No Silena" while he waited for the other person to respond.
No Silena: You only have to change the last digit. Mine ends with 5 and Silena's with 6. This is not the first time that they are wrong and they speak to me instead of her.
Nico: Thank you very much, I don't know how to thank you.
No Silena: Don't worry, Silena is my friend and indirectly I'm helping her too.
Nico: Hahaha Okay. How is your name? To be able to thank you properly.
After sending that message Nico decided to schedule Silena's real number and quickly write the same message that he had sent at the beginning, when he looked back at the conversation with the other person Nico saw that he had written to him.
No Silena: My name is Percy, and you?
He changed his contact name to Percy.
Nico: I'm Nico, Hazel's brother.
Percy: Okeeeeey, I don't know who Hazel is.
Nico couldn't help but laugh when he read the message and as if it were by magic the inspiration returned to him and the only thing he needed was to keep writing the song. So he decided to say goodbye to Percy before he could get back to things with him.
Nico: Percy I must go, nice talking to you and sorry for bothering me.
Percy: Don't worry, you just made my afternoon a little more interesting. Nice to meet you, bye.
Nico shook his head as he locked his phone and grabbed his guitar, placing his eyes in front of him as he began to hum the tune that had come to his head.

Nico heard something sound in the distance, but he wanted too much to continue sleeping to pay too much attention to it. He must have closed his eyes for a few moments when his phone rang again, huffing and deciding to get up and answer.
"What's happening?" Nico said as he listened to Hazel's laugh on the other end of the phone.
“What's up, big brother? Are you in a bad mood? "
“I was sleeping, Hazel. Something happened?"
“No, I couldn't talk to you yesterday and I just got out of my meeting with Silena. I wanted to thank you"
Nico couldn't help but smile upon hearing her, there's nothing he wouldn't do for her.

"Yeah yeah, everything went wonderfully." Hazel was silent for a few moments, Nico almost pushed the phone away to see if it had been counted when Hazel spoke again. "Silena told me that you got the wrong number"

Nico laughed in amusement.
"Do you need something else, little sister?"

Nico couldn't help but smile when he saw that he had written to him again.

Upon reading the message from him Nico became nervous. It's impossible that he realized who Nico was, right?

Percy: What is your favorite color?
Nico looked confused at his phone, not understanding why he asked before answering.
Nico: Black. Why?
Percy: Black?
Nico: Yes, do you have a problem with that? "
Percy: No no. Mine is blue. Everything is better when it's blue.

Nico couldn't help looking confused at his phone. Percy was very strange. Nico waited for a few moments for Percy to respond, seeing that Percy did not write anything Nico put his phone on the nightstand and laid his head on the pillow. He could sleep a little more.

Nico had just left his study, after a 3-hour meeting, he decided to walk home since it was not far away, on the way he came across an ice cream parlor and decided to have ice cream. Unable to decide on any flavor, he wrote to Percy and ask him the kind of strange questions he does.

Nico put the phone away and went to the cashier to pay for the ice cream, when it was delivered he went to a bench in the park in front of the ice cream parlor.

Percy: Hello?
Nico: Hi

Nico couldn't help but smile, while he shook his head, deciding to send him an image of the ice cream, when he sent it he waited a few seconds and saw the three ellipses appear in the chat.
Percy: Do you know what the best ice cream in the world is?
Nico: No?
Percy: Blue Moon
Nico looked at his phone confused.
Nico: What?
Percy: DON'T YOU KNOW?
Nico: no?
Nico looked at his phone confused when Percy sent a picture of blue ice cream.
Nico: Really blue?
Percy: Yup, blue.
Nico couldn't help but smile.
Nico: Why am I not surprised?
Percy: Because blue makes everything better. I think I already told you.
Nico: Yes yes, if you say so.
Inadvertently Nico had finished his ice cream, so he stood up and threw the napkin in a bin, and decided to walk quietly while he talked to Percy.
Percy: Nico, I want ice cream
Percy: Because of you I want ice cream.
Percy: Nico I'm working and I want ice cream. Help.
Nico couldn't help but laugh when he read the messages when he realized he looked around to see if someone had heard him when he saw that there was no one around he continued walking calmly
Nico: Buy yourself an ice cream.
Percy: I can't.
Percy: I have to go, work is calling me.
Nico: Bye
Nico hadn't noticed but he was smiling, he stared at the park while the melody played in his head again.

It had been two weeks since Nico had gotten the wrong number and had written to Percy instead of Silena. From the first day they were writing almost every day, they talked about everything, from the most common things, like what they are seeing on television, to about feelings and thoughts that they had in their heads. That's what was going through Nico's head when his phone rang telling him that a new message had arrived, he quickly grabbed his phone and smiled widely when he saw that it was Percy.

Nico looked confused at his phone, but he couldn't help but smile.

Percy: Why shouldn't you know that?
Nico: Okay ...

Nico looked at his phone smiling before deciding to ask Percy something he had been wondering about since he started talking to him.

Percy: Yup
Nico: Why do you know those random facts about marine things?
Nico waited a few moments before he saw the three ellipses appear in the chat.
Percy: Oh, I thought you already knew
Percy: but now that I know you don't know I want you to guess.
Nico: Okay, give me a minute to think about it.
Nico put down the phone from him and began to think about everything Percy was saying to him throughout these two weeks. He knew that he liked the sea, blue things, he ate a lot and was always hungry, he had some brothers and loved his family, among many other things that do not help to guess why Percy says random data about marine things. Nico picked up his phone and wrote.
Nico: Do you like animals?
Percy: Yeah
Nico: Are you a veterinarian?
Percy: You're close.
Nico started to smile, but when he saw Percy's next message his smile faded from his face.
Percy: But no, I'm not a vet.
Nico: So I don't have a single idea why you know that.
Percy: Well ...

Nico smiled and shook his head in amusement as he leaned back on the couch.
Percy: I'm a marine biologist.
Nico looked surprised at his phone, never, not in a thousand lives, would he have imagined Percy working a serious job.

Nico smiled widely.

Percy: You got the wrong number and wrote to me instead of Silena. We are the same age, we both live relatively close since I live in the same town as Silena and your sister met her.

Nico heard the front door open without deciding to say goodbye to Percy before he had to leave without saying anything.

Nico looked at his phone and wished Percy would forget about this for the next time they spoke.

After saying that, Nico left, leaving Will standing at the door of the hospital staring at him open-mouthed. Once he calmed down he got into his car and went to his house, on the trip he came up with the melody for a new song, so he just got into his house and began to compose.
He does not know how long he was like this, but his little creative bubble burst when only his phone when he looked at the identifier he saw that it was Bianca, his older sister, he sighed and answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Nico, I'm with Hazel and we both would like to know when you were going to tell us that you're dating."

Nico smiled as he read all of Percy's messages, only he could talk so much without receiving a reply in such a short time.

Nico couldn't help but smile and before he knew it he was sending a new message.

Nico smiled widely and laughed, he was going to be grateful every day for having the wrong number.
Nico: Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answers to.

Nico stared at the phone in surprise, he sat on the bed and could feel tense as the nerves entered his body, before he could get lost in the thoughts of him the phone rang again.

Nico looked at the phone and made the decision, he couldn't let Percy feel guilty.

He had barely sent the message when his phone began to ring, this time with a call, he took several breaths before answering
"Hello?" Nico said nervously.
"Hi, Nico?" He said a deep voice on the other side, Nico couldn't help but shudder with pleasure hearing it.
"Yes"
They were in awkward silence for several moments before hearing Percy's laugh on the other end of the phone, Nico couldn't help but think that all the sounds Percy was making were precious and they had only said 3 phrases to each other.
"God, this is awkward." Percy said between laughs "Triton had the idea"
That caught Nico's attention and he couldn't help but be surprised
"Seriously? You told him about this "
Percy made an affirmative sound "I shouldn't?"
Nico was quick to deny it "Of course you can tell whoever you want"
"Good, because all my friends and siblings know it."
Nico laughed as he relaxed on the bed.
"Seriously? I told my sisters and Will. I want to tell you something "
"What's happening?" Percy said and I could hear the curiosity in that voice as he had always imagined every time they had spoken via message, it brought a smile to his face.
"I may have told Will that you are my boyfriend and that he has told my sisters," Nico said, Percy was silent on the other side, Nico waited for a few moments "Sorry, I can write to him now and tell him that it was a lie ... "
"What if we would do it for real?" Percy said suddenly.
Nico could feel his brain shorting out.

"I would like to get to know you better, go on a date, and if things go well we could start something," Said Percy "What do you say?"
Nico swallowed nervously, but deep down he already knew what the answer was.

"Does that mean you accept a date with me?"
Nico could feel his cheeks flush.

Nico could hear Percy's laugh on the other side and couldn't help but laugh with happiness.
"Okay, we have a date," Percy said "Do you want it to be soon, or do you prefer to wait a little longer?"
"Anytime you want," Nico said before yawning, with all the emotion of the moment he had forgotten why he had gone up to his room.
"Nico, go to sleep. I should have called at a more decent time. "
"Don't worry, can we talk tomorrow?" Nico said he wanted to make sure they were going to talk again.
"Of course, see you," Percy said before ending the call.
Nico leaned back on the pillow and couldn't help screaming with excitement, he put his phone on the nightstand and went to sleep. It wasn't until the next morning that he saw a message Percy had sent him after falling asleep.
Percy: I just wanted to tell you that it wasn't a dream.

Percy: I already left my house, I promise not to be late.
Nico couldn't help but smile when he read the message, today they were finally going to see each other for the first time and he couldn't help feeling nervous he was so nervous that he was already at the door of the cafeteria where they were going to meet.
Nico waited patiently as he lost himself in the thought of him when he rang his phone again.
Percy: I'm here, have you already arrived?
Nico smiled and entered the cafeteria, he could quickly realize who Percy was and couldn't help but be surprised at how handsome he was, they had a similar complexion even though Nico was quite taller.
Nico must have been watching him for longer than he thought because when he wanted to realize it, Percy was in front of him smiling at him.
"Nico?"
Nico smiled and nodded
"Hello," He said shyly
Percy laughed out loud.
"Oh come here," Percy said before grabbing his face and kissing him, Nico froze for a few moments before kissing him back, a few moments later they parted and smiled shyly before ordering their drinks and sitting down at a table.
"I'm sorry if it was a lot," Percy said as he ran his hand through his hair "But I wanted to kiss you for so long and ..."
"Don't worry, I felt the same"
Percy grinned at him and Nico couldn't help but think that this was the beginning of a long story.
