“You’ll get through this, Joong. You’re not alone. You have Mingi and Yunho. And you have me as well,” Seonghwa said softly and wiped a tear away that rolled down Hongjoong’s cheek with his thumb. The younger closed his eyes, causing more tears to escape and a sob left his mouth. He wrapped his arms around Seonghwa’s waist and cried into his chest. Seonghwa rubbed his back soothingly and rested his chin on top of his friend’s head.

Hongjoong and Seonghwa had befriended each other through connections between their friends—this was how they became roommates. But even though they were roommates, they weren't all that close. However, a traumatic incident brings them closer.
