It's not Kevin's fault that he is always beside Sunwoo when something funny? important? happens. First of all, they are dorm mates who also happen to share a room with each other and most of their schedules are in sync anyway. So it's not his fault he is witnessing shit because he just happens to be beside Sunwoo most of the time.
(But who is he kidding? He won't literally be able to sleep at night without Sunwoo going to dreamland first and making sure Sunwoo is comfortable with his sleep. Haknyeon calls him Sunwoo's mother hen and Jacob fights him for the title, but that's story for another day.)
But really, Kevin should've known.
It all started on their day off. As most known Kevin might be a social butterfly but the moment his social battery went out he would keep himself inside his room doing what ever it is he is doing to recharge, so naturally he is inside the said room the moment their day off started. Sunwoo, the sweet summer child that he is (Haknyeon would say otherwise) decided he will quitely accompany Kevin during the charging period.
But as you know batteries get full charged and that happens to include the social one especially on Kevin's case, so here they are now in the middle of their room with their speakers blasting music and their voices jamming to the songs playing. Their heads also banging to the beat a little bit as they created random choreography that match the lyrics and really the two of them are having the time of their lives just singing and dancing around.
Then it happened. It was when he and Sunwoo are jamming to Sour album by Olivia Rodrigo and the song good4u is playing. He and Sunwoo are singing their hearts out (more like shouting the lyrics) when the door to their room burst open.
It reveals Hyunjae with his eyes big, panic growing in his facial features as he barrages a tons of questions directed to Sunwoo who stood beside Kevin surprised as his eyes grows equally big-if not bigger- in confusion.
"Sunwoo baby, is something wrong? Did something happened? Did I do something wrong? I didn't, right? Or did I?"
Silence passed after Hyunjae questions the youngest in the room worriedly, and Sunwoo, he stood there confused as Olivia's voice can still be heard in the background. ('It's playing deja Vu now' Kevin noted.)
"I'm okay hyung? Why do you asked?" Sunwoo replied slowly. Mind still processing what is happening.
"Are you sure? I didn't do anything wrong or say something wrong right?" Hyunjae asked again.
Sunwoo nodded slowly, affirming his answer earlier while still looking a bit confused.
Then it hit Kevin.
"Oh my gosh," Kevin said before he laughed loudly. "Don't worry Jaehyun hyung. We were just jamming to songs and good4u just came unknowingly," he continued once he calmed down a little.
"Okay? By the way Sunwoo-ah have you eaten yet? Do you want to go out for lunch?" Hyunjae said confused but ultimately letting go of the topic.
Sunwoo who is still beside him confused, agreed on the proposition going out of the room as he say goodbye to Kevin through hugging.
"See you later hyung, and eat real food okay?" Sunwoo mumbled.
"Of course," He replied still holding his laugh.
When the two went outside of the room Kevin turned of the music and continued laughing at his realization.
"Oh my gosh," he repeated once again laughing loudly because he should've known that Sunwoo does jam to Sour album whenever he is in sad mood and is a little angry at his boyfriend who also happens to be Hyunjae.
Kevin laughed again when he remembered what happened earlier.
So really it's not his fault he witness this kind of shit but he also should've known that this kind of shit would happen infront of him.
(He latered learned from Juyeon that Hyunjae came down to their dorm to ask something from him as an excused to see Sunwoo.)
(When he tells this story later at lunch to Jacob, Sangyeon and Haknyeon, their reactions are to be expected as all of them laugh their ass off with Jacob almost falling down the chair as he slapped Sangyeon's arm who looks concerned while laughing, and Haknyeon sports the most disbelieving expression on his face.)
