Amber meets ice when our eyes interlock, hearts beat quicker and time slows down.
Dancing in the kitchen at 3 am, when you cant go back to sleep after a nightmare. It calms you, slows down your mind, and makes you focus on a single thing.
Your tongue tasted of warm Coke, and you were wearing the red shorts three sizes too big. And right at that moment, I knew I loved you and I knew I would for a long time.
With the way you wore your flannels and the color of your eyes, your curly hair, and the freckles accenting your face. Everyone was charmed by you, and I wasn't even jealous. Because you were a perfect piece of art, one that belonged in a museum.
My heart is adorned with arrows, I think I've been shot by cupid. Because when I look at you the butterflies in my stomach wake up, and my cheeks grow red and you giggle because you've never thought that Dallas Winston could get flustered. And according to each other, all of our imperfections are perfections. And we’re the only people in the world.
There are a helluva lot more perfections in you than in me; You look godly, otherworldly. The yellow light bleeds through the curtains, and then I realize how lucky I am to be yours.
