“What’s wrong? Are you ok, Alinochka?” His voice is grave.
She sobs when he says her name, that way, the way only he can.
“What is it? Where are you?” He is deathly serious now.
Between her sobs, she manages to whisper, “I should have waited for you, Sasha.”
“Wait for me now, solnyshko. Can you do that? For me?”
