Work Text:

It wasn’t often that John went on international hunts. It was costly, but he knew that the demon he had been searching for might be in France. As he snuck his hunting gear through TSA, he mused about his dead wife.

Oh Mary, the love of his life. If only he could have saved her from her tragic fate in some kind of cyro-chamber that would preserve her body until he could find a way to bring her back to life. But alas, she was unwillingly cremated in the room of their dear baby Sam.

John has always liked Sam better than Dean. Sam was tall and had great hair, but the only problem was he didn’t like hunting. What a shame. Otherwise he could have used his mammoth body to tackle the demon like a football player. Too bad that Dean was the one who liked football. Dean’s body just wasn’t built for tackling immortal demons to the ground.

As he was knocking out a TSA agent who had detained him because of the suspiciously copious amount of salt he was bringing, he determined that while he was in France, he would find someone to spend time with so that he wasn’t so lonely all the time, having only the memories of a dead wife to keep him company as he had ditched Dean as soon as possible.

During the flight he thought about what he wanted in a new partner. John wanted someone opposite from his dead wife Mary. Mary was a kind women, so he needed someone who was mean and a man. With that thought in his mind, he strutted off of the plane once it landed, ready to find a new partner.

The first thing he did in France was go to the Norte Dame cathedral. If a demon was going to be anywhere in France, it would be in the country’s most famous cathedral. While he was knocking out security guards and priests, he saw a kid crying because God had not granted his prayer of getting the number one victory royal.

Suddenly a butterfly appeared on the kid’s face and the kid turned into a character that looked straight of the video game that the annoying kid next to him on the plane had been playing. Seeing this, John assumed that this must be a monster of some kind so he shot the video game character in the head and killed it. Once it was prone on the floor and the kid’s parents were crying over it, a butterfly came out of the character’s body. John decided he would follow the butterfly to its source so that he could kill the monster responsible for this monster.

John broke into the mansion that the butterfly had come from and swung in through the window, kicking the tall man that had been laughing in the middle of the room. As he was punching the guy’s brains out, John finally looked at the man’s face and saw a familiar look in them.

“You’ve lost your wife too,” he stated, firm in his conclusion.

“Yes, I have. She’s in a cyro-chamber in the basement until I can bring her back to life,” the man replied, bleeding out on the floor.

With that response, John saw someone that would be a perfect partner for him in his pursuit of revenge and to bring back his dead wife. “I will help you bring back your wife if you help me bring back mine.

With that sentence, Hawkmoth pulled him down for a kiss. The next thing they did was lure Ladybug and Chat Noir out with an akuma, and then John shot them both dead. They then used the miraculous to revive their dead wives, started a foursome, and lived happily ever after.
