Chapter Text

Tommy POV

I raced around in the ocean. I heard the shouts of my friend counting down, "5..4..3..2..1... Ready or not, here I come!" I saw a flash of gold scales dive down. I followed it, racing and laughing.

Ranboo was counting while Dream, Tubbo, and I hid. I followed Dream into a cave further down below. "Dream!" He spun around in front of me, "Tommy! We agreed we wouldn't hide together!" I grinned, "We won't! I'll hide in this cave, and you hide in that one." "It won't matter, Ranboo didn't bring any water-breathing potions Tommy, he won't find us." I swam over to Dream.

It had been about two months since Dream became my brother. We spent a lot of that time just talking, bonding, and building. I spent a lot of time with Tubbo and Ranboo as well. A little while ago me and Dream had moved their house to the ocean, making it a little island close to ours. Today the four of us had decided to play hide-and-seek. We were going to Oceania tomorrow to do some sight seeing. Dream insisted it would be fun.

I sat in the bottom of the ocean, yelling about how Ranboo would never find us. Dream pulled me back when he saw Ranboo on a boat. Ranboo was spamming his communicator calling us out for cheating again. There was a splash and I heard Tubbo yelling our names. Dream pulled me out of the cave, "Let's go Tommy, Tubbo is "It" anyway." I broke the surface, with Dream popping up shortly later. Ranboo rowed over to us, looking pissed. "Hey Oreo boy! Couldn't catch the dragon brothers?" I laughed, Dream smacked me, "New rules, we can only hide on the island, and you two can't use your powers." Ranboo said, and Tubbo enthusiastically agreed, "Yeah, you two use your powers to your advantages!"

I just shrugged and we were about to continue the game, but Dream grabbed my arm, "Tommy, we need to go, important, we'll play later." Confused, I bid Ranboo and Tubbo farewell, and I followed Dream inside. I stopped him as he pulled me through the house, "Dream, what the hell is wrong?" He went quiet. I nudged him as he dragged me upstairs, "Dream?" "Tommy, sit down... Don't question, but I think I heard the Overworld Goddess" I spun him around, "Dream, what?" Dream just brought me into my room, and sat us down. "I don't know Tommy! She just gave me simple instructions, said she needed to talk to us." Did my brother go insane? He pulled out a little rock he painted about a week ago. It was us in our dragon forms. He put it down in between us, "Do the same thing we did the first time..." I obligated, watching Dream as he relaxed. There was a soft, tingly feeling and I was delved into darkness. I could still see Dream, glowing gold. I saw that I was glowing silver.

The blackness faded back to that pretty neon forest. I saw the Goddess of the Overworld in the middle of the forest. "Hello my little dragons. I'm sure you two are wondering how you got here?" We both nodded, "Well dragons, you two have had a good amount of break time, so I'm here to train both of you to use your powers. Each of you share similar powers, but you both have a unique power." I glanced at Dream, who looked incredibly intrigued. "We'll start today, and then every week you two will come back for training." She stood up and guided us to a cave. "I want to see what you two can do, could you boys transform?" We both transformed. She walked around us, observing us. "Dream, you seem to have a more fluid transformation than Tommy, can you just transform by thinking about the animal, or do you have to focus?" "I can just think dragon, and then I'm a dragon." She nodded, "I have an idea about yours Dream, it's different for you, right Tommy?" I agreed. Dream seemed to get a little uneasy. "Dream, this may sound a little wild, but could you attempt a different creature, say, a wolf?"

"What?"
