In Her Twitch Chat

Summary:

Marcy grinned at their camera, “What’s up guys, if you didn’t read the title for whatever reason, today I’m back streaming the Calamity Server with Anne and Sash!”

Chapter Text

Marshmallow

Marcy went through the checklist on their phone, making sure they hadn’t forgotten anything important. They took a quick sip from their water bottle, which they kept on their desk to avoid getting yelled at by chat again. You make one joke about not having drank water in the last 7 hours and suddenly you have 9 different donations yelling at you to drink water, and a chat full of ‘Hydrate don’t diedrate!’, not to mention the people who went on Anne’s stream afterwards and snitched on them! The greatest betrayal… They adjusted their chair slightly so they were in the center of the frame and loaded up their game. Marcy glanced at the time before opening discord.

MarMar Today at 10:58

Ahgsdfhagsfdghafsd I’m joining now dw

Marcy tabbed back onto Minecraft and joined their server, spawning in at the base Anne started building last stream.

heartstomper: took you long enough nerd

marshmallow: Okay prep

heartstomper: stfu if anything im a jock

bannanna: ouch im being replaced?

marshmallow: If there's only one of each then ig you’re the goth sash

heartstomper: i accept my fate of looking hot as fuck

bannanna: fjghlfjhlfkgh

Marcy checked the time, 10:59, and pulled up their stream. It turned to 11:00 and they clicked start. There were already a few hundred people on the pre-stream.

They grinned at their camera, “What’s up guys, if you didn’t read the title for whatever reason, today I’m back streaming the Calamity Server with Anne and Sash. Speaking of, let’s get into vc now!”

Marcy left their idle screen up whilst they joined the call, then went back onto Minecraft.

“Nice to see you finally joined Marce.”

“Sasha it was like 5 seconds, plus you didn’t even join first.”

Marcy laughed “Okay okay, let’s just play before we end up making another arena to settle things!”

Anne shuddered, “Never again.”

“Cowards.”

“I admit to being a coward if it means I never have to 1v1 you again. Let me build my little houses in peace…”

Marcy spotted Sasha in the corner of their game, crouching over a ravine, and giggled evilly.

CHAT

gremlinhours: DO IT DO IT

ineedadrink: guys stop encouraging murder

getgnomed: PUSH HERRRRRR

Marcy slowly made their way to Sasha, then punched her into the ravine with a shit-eating grin.

Heartstomper

Sasha placed a bucket of water below her as she fell, then glared back up at Marcy’s character.

“Damn I was sure I was gonna get you that time!”

She rolled her eyes, “Neither of you have killed me in this game in the last few months, I wouldn't be so sure of yourself.”

Anne sighed, “What’re you guys doing over there this time?”

“Attempted murder."

“Keyword, attempted, ” Marcy grinned.

CHAT

doggo: get their ass sasha

kingshit: daaaamn that clutch tho

GaymerGrl: i love your pride pin where'd you get it :eyes:

Sasha glanced at the chat, and dryly answered, “Well GaymerGrl, when I came out as bi it suddenly attached itself to my shirt, and it reappears everytime I change, I’ve yet to find a way to break the curse.”

Marcy giggled, which quickly turned into a curse when they noticed Sasha climbing back out of the ravine with her bucket. They turned and started sprinting away, past Anne, who was attempting to meet up with them.

“Why are you ru-” Anne saw Sasha chasing after them, diamond sword in hand and laughed, “Of course.”

Sasha smiled, “What’s wrong Mar Mar, I just wanna talk.”

“Nope, no thank you, you can talk to me from 50 blocks away!”

“Are you scaaared?” She sing-songed.

“When you speak in that voice? Incredibly!”

Anne sighed, “I’m not even gonna try mediating this time Marce, you asked for it.”

They made a betrayed sound, “Abandoned in my time of need…”

Sasha tried to follow after Marcy, but missed a jump across a tree and lost track of them, “Ah shit. Fine, you win this time, but if you try and kill me again I swear I’ll-”

“Hey, I didn’t try to kill you, I just pushed you into the ravine, there could’ve already been water at the bottom, I have plausible deniability!”

“That’s not what that even means! Whatever, just know I’m keeping an eye on you now.”

“I accept your challenge.”

Sasha could hear the smirk in their voice and scowled, “Not a challenge!”

“Of course, wink wink.”

Anne paused, “Did you just say wink wink?”

“No way, wink wink .”

Sasha rubbed the bridge of her nose with a sigh, “Sure, Marcy.”

She was back at their base by this point, so she headed over to where she saw Anne’s gamertag, who was adding another level to the somewhat small build.

“So we’re going up instead of out?”

“Yup,” Anne replied, popping the p, “I don’t want it to take up too much space in the world in case we want to add things to the surrounding, plus we can go further down like this as well!”

“It would also be helpful for once we have elytra later on, we could jump off the top to get a boost.”

“...you can do that, I’m fine not jumping off of the roofs of buildings.”

“Coward,” Marcy joined in, having found their way back to the base.

She laughed, “Do either of you guys have spare dark oak?”

Sasha checked her inventory, “Uh, logs or planks?”

“Either is fine.”

“Then nope.”

“...what was the point of even asking?”

Marcy threw a few logs at her, “I have some!”

“Thanks Marbles!”

Bannanna

Anne continued building up the walls to the room, then noticed it was getting dark.

“Hey guys we should probably get to bed before mobs spawn, also Marcy I know that you’re this close to getting attacked by a phantom.”

“Whaaaat, I slept like… Uh… Okay yeah I should probably sleep now.”

Sasha laughed, “What an idi- Agh, phantom!”

“Who’s the idiot now Sash !”

Anne placed beds down in front of the three of them before Sasha got killed, and they all went to bed. She took the opportunity to check the chat quickly.

CHAT

madskillz: omg she put their minecraft beds together :flushed:

nevergonnagiveyouup: that’s preeeetty gay anne

DaaaamnDaniel: I love the stone brick/dark oak combo sm <3

She giggled, “Well, I don’t think my gayness has anything to do with it, to be honest.”

“What’d they say?”

“I put the beds together, so chat is going wild.”

Marcy gasped, “I can’t believe you’d turn us gay Anna-banana, you witch!”

“Oh noo ,” Sasha deadpanned, “Whatever shall we do now.”

It turned to morning and the three picked their beds back up, since they’d gone back to spawn to build their new base, for convenience's sake. Anne glanced at her inventory and noticed she was running low on bricks, then checked the furnaces for smooth stone, and realised they were out of coal.

“Hey, Saaaashaaaa-”

“What do you want now?”

“Do you have any coal for me?”

“No, and I’m not going back to the ravine since I can’t trust our little Marshmallow to not attack me.”

“You’re only like 4 inches taller than me!”

“Marcy, we all know you’re short, I’m at least 4 inches taller than you. Do you want to measure again?”

“...no. Okay, okay, I promise on Biscuit’s life, I won’t knock you into that ravine again this stream.”

Sasha paused, “...fine, I know how much you love that dumb dog, so I’ll take your word. But I swear to god if you come anywhere near me I will throw it in there myself.”

Anne grinned, “Thanks Sash!”

“Don’t worry about it, the house is for all of us anyway.”

“Marce d’you wanna help me cut some wood down?”

“I actually have some plans, I can start on the basement area now, right?”

“Sure thing, I’ll see you in a bit then.”

Anne found the nearby roofed forest and started cutting down some trees, planting saplings in its place, and decided to read through some donations whilst she was doing so.

“Thanks for the $10, InstantRamenFuelsMe, ‘If you could be any animal what would you be?’. Hmm, maybe a bird, it’d be cool to fly! Eh, but I’d also have to eat worms and stuff… Maybe a frog? Just vibing in a forest or lake or something sounds nice.”

“Probably the most stereotypical queer answer ever there, congrats Anne.”

She rolled her eyes and went to the next one, “Thank you for the $5, SashanneForLife, ‘How do you’- Wait, wait, what’s your name again? Sashanne. As in… Me and Sasha? Is that-”

Marcy cackled, “A ship name! Pfft, you guys are so gay it’s become a thing. I, for one, hope I get to be the double best man of honour.”

Sasha sputtered, “Their name is what ?”

Anne coughed, a blush becoming prominent on her face, “...‘SashanneForLife’...”

“As a joke, right? People don’t… We’re not…”

Marcy mock-gasped, “Bi panic has rendered our resident Heartstomper speechless?”

“Not bi panic! I’m chill. It’s just funny. Yeah.”

“Yeah, of course, it’s not like people are serious , anyway,” Anne cleared her throat, and continued collecting wood, “Thanks for $5, MochaLattes and Britannia. Oh, new donation, thank you for $7, UselessLesbian, ‘Nah, ppl are serious about Sashanne, but Marcanne is… way better…’”

Marcy choked, “Wh-what’s way better? That’s… Ahah…”

“Now who’s panicking!”

“No one, not me!” Anne quickly responded.

Sasha smirked, “...I meant Marbles, but I see they’re not the only one.”

Anne glanced at the stream duration, “Well would you look at that, it’s already been an hour, time really flies huh! See you all next stream, bye!”

She quickly ended the stream, and left the voice chat. She covered her face with her hands and quietly screamed to herself. She was too gay for shit, it wasn’t at all fair. She was shipped with both of her best friends? Anne exited Minecraft and slunk down in her chair, she might’ve been able to handle one , but both of them? Whatever, it didn’t matter, it wasn’t like she actually liked them like that. Of course she loved both of them platonically, they’d all been friends since kindergarten, a decade at this point! But she definitely didn’t like them romantically. Sure, sometimes she’d forget what she was going to say because Marcy’s giggle was just so cute, or she’d accidentally spill her drink when she got distracted by Sasha lifting weights, or- Oh. Oh shit. Okay, maybe she had a tiny crush on her best friends, but she’d survive! Probably.
