Sakura squinted her eyes at her daughter. She knew exactly what the little girl was doing. She used to do it way back when she was still in med school while Sasuke was already working in their family's company.
Sarada was sleeping on the couch, pretending that is. Being the caring father Sasuke is, of course he won't let their little girl sleep on the couch. What if she suddenly falls off? Got scared waking up alone? The list goes on and on.
He'll pick her up, carry her to the bedroom, and once they're there, like a predator who cornered it's prey, Sarada would "accidentally" wake up and make Sasuke do things (play, bedtime story, or simply talking) according to her bidding.
In Sakura's case, Sasuke had let her study in his condominium to make sure that she's eating well and having enough rest during her entire stay in med school. Sakura enjoyed the arrangement. Who wouldn't say no to studying in a high-ceiling and spacious study area with your hot and handsome boyfriend who is willing to buy you iced coffee and help you review anatomy and physiology using his own body?
She would pretend to have fallen asleep while studying. Once Sasuke notices that she is asleep he'll carry her to the bedroom and then she would wake up, and like a baby she would ask for cuddles or at some nights she would be an irresistible seductress. At the end of the day, Sakura gets whatever she wants.
Sasuke wiped the last plate and his eyes fell on their sleeping daughter. His reflex was to go to Sarada and carefully carry her to the room but his wife stopped him.
"You know she's just pretending to be asleep right?"
"Yeah. Like mother, like daughter." Sasuke smirked.
All this time, Sakura thought that Sasuke didn't notice what she was doing to him, given how obedient he was, and he never complained or called her out.
"You knew all along?!"
"That you were pretending to have fallen asleep while studying? Yeah."
Sakura covered her face with her hands. She was an idiot thinking that Sasuke never noticed.
"Why did you keep on going along? You never complained or called me out!"
"Well I enjoyed spoiling you like a big baby."
