It's been a year, a whole painful year without him. He never knew a heartbreak would make me this weak, this...
Emotionless.
Pretending to be happy, watching his friends and colleagues get into relationships. While he does feel genuinely happy for them, his heart breaks a little inside. Everyone is moving on, and he.... he's still stuck in a loop, a very painful loop.
"I don't think I can do this anymore Jisoo,"
I looked at him and those beautiful chocolate brown swirls that always made my heart leap. I stared at him, silently asking him to elaborate.
"I'm sorry hyung," he never called me hyung, "But, I need to leave, it's not you, it's me".
He stood up and left me, all alone on our 4th anniversary together."
"Shuaaaaa!!" he heard a whine from next to him, "yes Jeonghan?" The older pouted and snuggled closer to the younger, "Speak to me, what's on your mind?"
I looked away and asked the date, "February 19?", I smiled to myself, "on this day four years ago, I got into a relationship that would change me, for better or worse." the other stared at him, a sign to continue. "On this day a year ago, I lost that relationship. More like he left... without even giving me a reason." Jeonghan held his hand and pulled him into an embrace, apologizing for making him cry. I'm crying?
"Jeonghan?" another, much hoarser voice floated in the air. "Jeonghan, remember that friend I told you about, seokmin-" Joshua's neck snapped in the direction of Seungcheol's voice and saw the man standing, mouth gaping. "S-seokmin? What about him? Where is he?" he hadn't realized he stood up and was gripping the man's collar, tears streamed down his cheeks as he waited for an answer. Jeonghan stared at Seungcheol with raised brows, while the latter only looks at the floor, unable to face either of the two.
"Who is Seokmin, Shua?"
Joshua lets go of Seungcheol, who finally looks at him, and sees him smile sadly and walk towards the door.
"the man who broke my heart."
