"Okay, Hobi, are you absolutely sure we can go back now?" Seokjin asked.
It's Jeongguk's birthday. And although they have planned a dinner for celebration, Seokjin also prepared a 'little' celebration for in case he slipped. And he did.
Seokjin had told their friends about his plan early in the morning when Jeongguk woke up, immediately saying 'daddy'. Hoseok and his little, Taehyung, and Yoongi with Jiminie, a little as well, are at their house, and Namjoon, another one of Tae's daddies, are with them, at Build-a-Bear, one that Seokjin will normally avoid going to as it is too expensive. It's a special occasion today, though, so it's fine.
Namjoon is currently watching over Jeongguk as he calls Hoseok on the phone.
"Yea, hyung. We've decorated your place and the little bud is on the bedroom like you told me to do so. Plus, Jiminie and Taetae are excited already."
"Okay, thanks, Seok. I'll text you when we're near." Seokjin hangs up and goes back to where Namjoon and Jeongguk is, currently in the middle of giving Jeongguk's bear a bath, which is honestly just brushing it's fur.
"What's their name, baby boy?" he asks Jeongguk.
The boy hums. "I think later, 'm giving him a bath," he says, rubbing diligently.
He just nods his head, looking at Namjoon with a knowing look.
Jeongguk then finished, so Seokjin led him to the naming station, Namjoon following along.
"Name… Jeon Jeongguk," The younger muttered to himself, filling out the form by himself. Seokjin reads the name he gave to his new bear, "Chowchow."
"Why'd you name it Chowchow, baby?" He gently asks.
"It's cause I always see videos of chowchow and I wan a dog, but we don't hab a dog, so chowchow can be my fren!" he explains cheerily, and with that, Seokjin smiles wider.
Only if Jeongguk knew what he planned on giving him.

They are now on the front of their apartment, Seokjin driving. He glances at Namjoon through the mirror and he nods, getting out of the car. Seokjin then faces Jeongguk who has fallen asleep during the car ride.
"Baby, wake up."
Jeongguk stirs. "Are we home, daddy?"
"Yes, baby. Let's go inside."
Jeongguk nods and Seokjin goes to open the door. When the younger got out, he wrapped his arms around Seokjin, and with the softest voice ever, he says, "Thank you, daddy."
"Anything for you, bun." He replies, voice gentle, placing a kiss on Jeongguk's forehead.
They walked to their front door, and when Jeongguk opened the door, their friends inside shouted, startling Jeongguk.
"Happy Birthday, Ggukie!"
Jeonggukie looks at Seokjin, his eyes teary. "Happy birthday, bub." he says with a soft smile and that's when Jeongguk let out a sob.
"This for me?" he looks at his other friends. "Thank you, made Koo happy here…" he says, pointing at his chest, presumably saying his heart is happy as well.
They all cooed at his cuteness. "Yes, baby, all our friends are here for your birthday! Let's go!"
Soon enough, the apartment was filled with laughter, the littles' giggles the loudest as they laugh at whatever Namjoon and Yoongi was doing.
They also ate an unhealthy amount of dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, Jeongguk naming each one and saving all the 'brachiosaurus' so he can stuff it in his mouth all in one go.
"Daddy, he so funny!" Jeongguk, sitting on Seokjin's lap, says. Just then, a bark was heard.
"Seems like he's awake, hyung. Want me to get him?" Yoongi offers.
"No, I'll get him, Yoongi-ah," he replies, "Koo, baby, sit aside for a moment, huh? I'm going to get my gift for you."
"Gift, gift…" he mumbles.
Seokjin quickly walked towards their bedroom where they had hidden the puppy. "C'mere boy." he calls out. It jumps out of it's made-up crate and runs towards him. He carries it and then goes back to where everyone is.
"Close your eyes, babyboy," he says when he is nearing them.
"He closed it, Jinnie!" Taetae enthusiastically replies, Jeongguk following with a quiet 'I did, daddy'.
When he is in front of Jeongguk already, he brings the puppy near the boy's face. It licks Jeongguk's hands which he put over his eyes.
"Open, baby,"
Jeonggukie opens his eyes, and was met by the sight of chowchow, a real chowchow.
"Here’s daddy's special gift for you, bun."
The little pets its head, his eyes brimming with unshed tears. He then goes to carry it, putting it near his chest. "T-thank you, daddy, I love him forever," he says, stuttering as he beings to let the tears fall.
"Why you crying, Ggukie?" Jiminie asks, worried.
"He's just happy, Chim. Aren't you, baby?" Seokjin answers for the boy who's still shedding happy tears, Jeongguk nodding in agreement.
"Oh, then we can gib you gifts now! Can we, Jinnie?" Tae asks, and Seokjin nods.
Jiminie brings out a paper bag designed with cookies and a sloppily written 'Gookie'. "Here! Open, open!"
"Daddy…" Jeongguk hands the puppy over to him so he can open his present. Inside was a puppy costume, a set of hairclips, and a 64-page coloring book.
"The shirt is for your new puppy! Jinnie told daddy about it so we buy him or he gets cold, and you want lots of clips on your hair when you come over so I buy some for you so we pretty together, and daddy gots you the coloring book cause he said you great at art. Happy birthday, koo!" Jiminie explains, rambles, and by the end of his explanation Jeongguk's already hugging him tight, saying thank you's directed to both him and Yoongi.
Taehyung then hands over a yellow box with stars, decorated with what seems a name art of 'Koo' and a drawing of a dog. Inside was a purple onesie, a paci, and a small drawing of what seems like Taehyung, Jimin and Jeongguk. Seokjin's heart swelled at that.
"Well! It's a onesie like Jiminie's and mine so when we sleepover we match, and daddy buy the paci for you because he said you sometimes chew on your, your sleeve, and daddy and taehyungie draw us! Happy birthday, Googie!" he was also tackled into a hug by Jeongguk, which soon become a pile as Jiminie dived in, pulling Yoongi, who then pulled Hoseok and Namjoon. Seokjin just laughed, taking a picture of them. It's a lovely sight.
"Daddy! Come join!"

It's now night, Jeongguk cuddled into Seokjin's chest, their dog, which Jeongguk named Mallows, sleeping in the carpet below their bed.
"Daddy?" Jeongguk mumbles.
Seokjin hums as response. "You know I love you, right? Cause, you the best daddy ever, and you gotted me Mallows, and you give me Chowchow and you throwed me a party, and you take care of me…"
And Seokjin's heart might've skipped a bit. "I know, love, and I love you too, so much."
"I love you forever and ever daddy, to the moon and…" he falls asleep just then.
"To the moon and back, baby." Seokjin finishes what Jeongguk was about to say.
That night, Seokjin hopes his baby never gets tired of loving him.
That night, Jeongguk dreams of Seokjin.
