Albedo stood in front of the gates of Celestia University, was he finally at the place he worked his entire life to get to? The most renowned school in Teyvat had people from all over praying to get in, the awesome teaching, the amazing campus. He thought to himself how crazy it was that he would be one of the people attending it.
‘Aim for the stars’ he mumbled, taking a deep breath in, placing his foot forward and stepping onto the school grounds. Trees of all varieties, bushes lining the stone pathways, rivers and so much more. He could spend forever just walking around as the view was absolutely breathtaking, he could certainly see how this place got credit for their campus.
Albedo had made a small list of things to do before he got there. After doing boring stuff like registration, school id, it was time to look for his dorm. Many signs had been placed for the new students to find the dormitories, which made finding them a piece of cake. The building had many windows and it looked like the other dormitories but the dandelions surrounding it and the text reading ‘Mondstadt’ reassured him it was where his dormitory would end up being.
Stepping into the building Albedo glanced around, to the left a collection of tables obviously a place where students could hangout, to the right a bunch of pamphlets about the college and finally in front of him was the front desk, behind it was a receptionist sitting on a high stool, her name plate reading ‘Katheryne’
“Welcome!” she said from behind the desk.
“So what brings you here today?”
“I'm here for a dorm if it wasn't obvious” Albedo replied
“And your name?”
“Albedo Keel”
“Room 319 is yours! You know your roommate also majors in chemistry even though he isn't close to ‘the type’, good luck with getting settled in!” She said while quickly checking a piece of paper, putting a checkmark somewhere.
She got the keys to his room and tossed it to Albedo, the keys nearly missed his hands while he fumbled to catch them. Katheryne signaled to the wooden door on the left, so he walked to the door and used one of his keys to unlock it. His jaw dropped to the floor, the courtyard in the Mondstadt dorms was filled with trees, flowers and plants native to Mondstadt. Walking along the dirt path he looks around absentmindedly, observing the scenery and looking for where room 319 could possibly be.
While he was looking around he was busy looking around thinking how he could possibly introduce himself to the roommate that he would meet “Hello i am Albedo i major in chemistry as well!” ‘God no that's lame’ he thought to himself, he didn't notice there was a taller man walking his way.
(who, in Albedo’s defense was also not paying attention)
He bumped into the taller man and Albedo stumbled forward yelping as both of them tumbled to the floor.
Albedo landed on top of the man and took a second to glance at him, striking dark blue hair in a low ponytail draped over his left shoulder, an eyepatch covering his right eye and his left eye a beautiful icy blue. ‘God he’s handsome’ Albedo thought to himself, saying he was amazed by the taller man's beauty would be an understatement. He kept staring into his eyes as his face started to slightly heat up when he saw the revealing blouse the man wore, exposing his cleavage.
The man noticed and his face changed from a slightly startled look to a smirk while he made no effort to move.
Albedo was getting flustered as he scrambled off him picking up his keys and a few things that had spilled out of his pockets realizing he should probably apologize and maybe introduce himself, he was the first person he met at the university so far so it seemed only fitting.
“Hello, I am Albedo Keel. I'm a chemistry major and I apologize for bumping into you.” he said.
“Well hello Albedo , my name is Kaeya Alberich. Nice to meet you” The taller man replied, he gave Albedo a wink and a smile walking towards the door Albedo just came out of, slowly waving him off.
Albedo’s face was bright red, inhaling sharply and then sighing.
He glanced at signs with room numbers and arrows on them, with the help of the signs his room was easily found. The door opened with his key, entering a small hallway making mental notes of where everything was. He first checked the room on the left if it had his stuff and that it did.
A good afternoon full of unpacking his stuff and essential things later his room was looking pretty neat. One side of the room had his bed, bookcase and closet, and the other side had shelves filled with plants, a desk with his laptop and chemistry experiments.
Albedo realized the colors of sunset painted the sky, had it really gotten to be that late already? He made the decision to leave for dinner, even though Albedo had no clue where the dining hall was he was sure he would figure it out. Walking out of his room ready to leave until.
He heard the door unlocking.
‘Would he finally be meeting his roommate? What will they be like?’ Albedo was busy thinking until the door finally unlocked and he stood frozen in his place.
“Yeah yeah, have a good one ill see you in a few!”
The door opened to Kaeya Alberich, the absolutely gorgeous man from earlier, Katheryne was right. There was no way that he of all people was a chemistry major much less his roommate? In the end Kaeya was the first one to say something.
“Oh hey there pretty boy, didn’t expect you to be my roommate” Kaeya said with a smirk
Albedo stood there dumbfounded, his mind racing ‘Pretty boy? Keep your composure Albedo.’ he thought
“Hello Kaeya, I was just about to head to the dining hall. Do you mind coming with me?”
Kaeya said nothing in response, he just walked out the door and waited for Albedo to follow after him, seemingly he knew where the dining hall was.
