Summary
Evelynn narrows her eyes at her again, causing Akali to squirm in her seat. “What is it that you do?”
“I play baseball.” Akali answers sheepishly, “Our season is over now, so I can help you, at least until Ahri gets back.”
“You’re an athlete?” Evelynn is incredulous, her tone haughty, “Aren’t you a bit small?”
Akali’s expression hardens, her grey eyes defiant and illuminated by the sheer willpower to break down barriers, “Maybe. I play anyway, they can’t stop me.”
