Wrote this fic about a month back? It was the fic that got a friend to ask me to join AO3, so...

Also conservative Kuko for some reason.

Chapter 1: Part A

Chapter Text

I kept checking my phone. 9:00...9:05...9:10...the minutes kept on passing by, and Jyushi still wasn’t here for training! What was his lazy ass doing?! I thought that maybe he was just running late, but at 10:00, he still hadn’t shown up. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and visit him myself. As I walked over to his house, I thought of all the words I wanted to spit out when I saw him. How could he not show up?! As always, he left the door unlocked, and he seemed to be playing some music and singing.

“JYUSHI!” I yelled when I got to his room. He dropped everything in his hand (his phone, a hairbrush which he used as a microphone, and something else) and started to whimper. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!”

“K...Kuko-san…” he responded in a tiny voice. “T...today was our day off...remember?” Looking back, I do remember telling him that he could have a day-off once a week.

“Well...whatever!” I felt pissed that I let myself easily forget about something so simple, yet my eyes were drawn to something different; I looked at both of his hands...he put on...nail polish? Wasn’t that something that only girls could use? Jyushi was a boy! For a boy, Jyushi was overly feminine; crying too much, constantly obsessed with fashion and now...painting his nails?! It was disgusting. And I was going to tell him exactly what I thought.

“Jyushi…” I snarled as I scrunched up my nose. “Why the fuck would you ever want to paint your nails?! That’s disgusting! Get it through your tiny head, you are a boy!”

“But...Kuko-san...:” he replied, attempting to talk back.

“Shut up! Until you learn to be a man, I’m taking this!” I snatched the nail polish as he sobbed, and ran off without saying farewell.
