Summary
After the forging of the Great Rings war rises, and most of Middle-Earth is defeated by Sauron. Elrond Half-Elven takes a large part of the surviving Elves to a hidden valley, where he builds his sanctuary and names it Imladris. It is a haven for many, but also in constant danger. In the year 1698 of the Second Age, the forces of Sauron are close, and fear is spreading in the valley. Talk of a dark creature hiding in Imladris becomes louder. After an incident, Glorfindel decides to keep an eye on the waters, just to be sure.
