Y/n‘s POV:
„Hey Y/n, the ADA wanted to go out and have a picknic at the river, are you gonna come too?“, atsushi asked.
„O-oh uhm yeah i‘ll be ready in a few minutes!“, i pressed out, trying to hide the sadness in my voice.
„Ok we‘ll be waiting outside then!“, atsushi informed and i heard him leave.
‚Maybe that‘ll be the last time i‘ll ever see them smile…‘, i thought to myself while getting ready.
~outside~
„Hey y/n! Looking good huh? Well, ready to go?~“, dazai asked.
„Yup!“, i faked a smile and we went to the river to have a little and my last picknic. Everyone was having fun and i was feeling emptier as the hours go by. No one has noticed the sadness in my eyes, the darkness, the hatred, my shattered heart. No one saw how hard i was holding back tears that just won’t stop coming up. After the picknic we went on a bridge to watch the sunset and that‘ll be the last sunset i‘ll ever see.
„Wow the sun‘s so pretty isn’t it y/n?“, yosano said.
„Y-yeah it’s really breathtaking!…“, i answered.
„Hey are you ok?“, she asked.
„Yeah I’m fine just, could you hold my bag for a sec?“, i asked.
„Oh uhm, sure why not? What are you gonna do?“, she asked again.
„You‘ll see…“, i turned around so i‘ll be able to see everyone.
„Hey guys could you all listen to me for a second…?“, i started and continued after everyone’s attention was on me.
„Ok so you guys saved me so many times and you probably dont know how much you mean to me. You saved me from my sadness but it’s not completely gone. Now it’s back and it’s haunting me all night and day. All those sleepless night make me even more tired, tired of everything around me. Even those things that i used to have fun doing mean nothing anymore. I cant to this any longer so i want to apologize to everyone. I’m so sorry that i cant make you happy just the way you made me…goodbye and i hope you guys have a good life…without me…“, i finished and turned around quickly to jump off the bridge, into the water. I saw dazai, atsushi and yosano try to grab my arm because they were right beside me but they didn’t react in time. Water engulfed me and i couldn’t breathe anymore. It was cold, silent and dark. My eyes started to close and eventually they did. Someone was there above me. They tried to reach out to me but i already fell too deep. Eventually I started to feel very dizzy and then i passed out. My last breath came out of my mouth without noticing it and now…i‘m completely gone…
