Wilson, half-delusional and in agony, had hallucinated and ranted for awhile -- some of the babble had been fairly mean-spirited, although not entirely untrue or undeserved. "I think it was right after you confessed to stealing a pack of gum from the corner store when you were eight. For the third time."
